Liked The campsite is in an idyllic location, nestled in a valley, with no road noise and just the sounds of wildlife. We sat out in the evening watching bats fly over, and listening to owls hooting. The wash house/ composting loos were clean and neat, and the shower was hot, however the doors had swelled in the heat so it wasn’t possible to lock them. There were so few families in the field this wasn’t really an issue. Sturdy footwear is needed as there are quite a lot of old rabbit holes to test the ankles, and although the pitches are flat, the site is on a hill. We are looking forward to staying again soon!
