FHU cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Easy to get to and in a very nice part of wales. Great pitches, nice looking site (well kept) and very friendly and welcoming owners.
Disliked The pitch cost was a bit on the high side, especially given that if you want electricity, you pay for that on top of the pitch price.

FHU cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Bathroom faculties, warm, clean and good showers
Disliked Touring pitches whilst fully serviced feel a bit unloved. Not level, cannot park car by pitch (although some people do). Also the main thoroughfare to what is primarily a glamping set-up, is right between the touring pitches.

From the manager: We are glad that you appreciated our facilities block, but disappointed you feel the caravan site is unloved. Our planning permission prevents us from putting larger hard standings or the use of any non permeable surface for the hard standings. We assume your concern is regarding the weeds which have grown through the stone bases which we are addressing now the site is quieter but as we are very keen on wildlife conservation we will not use weed killer so their removal is by hand and is weather dependent. We ensure the grass on the site is kept short but we allow the edges of the field to remain natural, these bordering arrears are native habitat to the abundance of birds, red squirrels and hedgehogs that live here. Our policy of not parking by caravans, which is stated in the site particulars is a health and safety issue we are very aware that we have dogs and children on site and clear visibility for drivers, children and animals is our priority. The only exceptions to our our policy are for individuals with disabilities. Our site comprises 15 touring bases and 15 glamping units so we have an equal split of guests.
