Primitive grass tent campsite (five person)
Liked Very good site for access to the munros and loch Tay. It was very peaceful and a beautiful spot. The grass pitches were well maintained and the grass a good length. Both grass pitches are close to the facilities. Showers were nice and hot. You can walk to the sister site with the lodge fairly easily which has much better facilities and the all important onsite bar.
Disliked Check in is a little convoluted as you have to go to the adjoining site to to get to reception and then drive back. The space for grass camping was quite limited because most of the site is on a slope with a only a few areas that were flat. The facilities were cleaned once a day from what I could tell so we're a bit mucky if you went for a shower towards the end of the day. The showers were very mouldy and they could do with sprucing up. The facilities in general were quite unkept including the drink water fountain/taps. Cafe is only open at specific times Thursday to Monday.

Peace Rose cabin
Liked The cabin was very cosy with good heating and lovely hot shower. The area was very peaceful and Veronica was easily contactable. The cafe onsite had a good breakfast and very good cake selection. Perfect place for a quick getaway!

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Very peaceful. Nice pitch at the back of the site with plenty of space. Toilets were nice and clean. Showers were also clean and tidy. Sweet shop is an excellent touch. Alys was especially warm and welcoming and was very helpful when we needed freezer packs!
