Powered cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked Well kept average sized pitches, good location with the added bonus of a restaurant and pub. Adult only site with good food, drink and friendly helpful owners.
Disliked Showers not working properly due to a bizarre token system, would be better to add the cost of shower use to the pitch price less to go wrong during a busy Bank Holiday.
Grey waste disposal not suitable for most motorhomes it’s tucked away in the corner and not accessible.

From the manager: Thank you David for the review and your feedback, we are trialing the new token system for various reasons not least huge expense for commercial supply, we are very open to feedback and although we feel it isn't quite right at this time, we will endeavour to improve the facilities for sure, thanks again

Boston, Lincolnshire, England
Power optional grass campsite
Liked A warm and friendly greeting by the owner and site manager. A small site close to walks and pubs/restaurants.
Disliked Small showers with nowhere to put your items other than the floor, plastic shower curtain which didn’t stop getting water on the floor.
Unable to empty our grey water due to no access for the vehicle, the drain was too close to the edge of the site perimeter, it was also used for chemical waste with the clean water above the same drain, not an ideal or hygiene safe setup.
The one and only pot wash had no water.
No signs for facilities i.e. clean water, grey water, chemical waste.

Lagos, Lagos, Portugal
Powered earth campsite
Liked Location walking distance to Praia da Luz and the beach and 10 minutes drive to Lagos. Friendly staff.
Disliked An expensive disappointment, half of the toilets and shower blocks were closed for maintenance with no evidence of that taking place.
The site is tired lacking in maintenance and could do with improvements. Unclear defined pitches and dated electric points which need resetting regularly.
The shower and toilet blocks that were available to use were often closed for cleaning at a time when people wanted to use them, change your cleaning schedule.
No hot water available for pot or clothes washing

Power optional cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Location very quiet and peaceful with beautiful scenery and not far to travel for food supplies. There are also several restaurants close by that have varied menus and are not over expensive. The roads in the area are very quiet so ideal if you want to get out and about on a bike.
The campsite is well set out and spacious and you do not feel like you are being shoe horned into the nearest pitch like some campsites offer. The facilities are very clean and are well looked after. There is a lovely swimming pool with a natural filter to cool down in on hot days. The hosts Jurrie and Marga were very welcoming friendly and personable.
We stayed for 7 nights and enjoyed it very much and would definitely recommend it. We will definitely stay here again when we revisit Portugal.
