Liked Open spaces and choice of where to camp on two very large fields. Plenty portaloos on both fields cleaned regularly buy the farmers. This farm is run by three brothers who are just awesome. Its refreshing to see such wholesome people who cant do enough for you. The views are exceptional, Scotland in one direction and lake district the other side. We were give a brief on what's about nearby.

Liked Cheap and cheerful

Disliked Narrow roads leading to site, first impression is un kept , but that's the storage area you drive through. Site was mowed lawn , firm soil so driveable. Cheap and cheerful, owner very pleasant fella.

The approach roads are used every day by the local bus service and other large vehicles visiting the nearby businesses , however there are some more narrower country lanes nearby. We are currently leaving the field on the approach to the campsite, opposite the storage area uncut to encourage more birds, and it’s been a wonderful experience so far. Thankyou Nikki and Chris

Liked Lovely fresh meat and pies on site. We were on hard stand with grass next to us. Could hear the cattle in the evening, quite soothing to be honest. Very friendly farmer , spacious ablutions with ample toilets that were very clean.
