From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, David. We are pleased that you found out site tidy & well maintained. Your feedback about the serviced pitches has been noted – we aim to be as clear as possible about what is included, but we appreciate that expectations can differ. Regarding the signage, these are in place to ensure the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of all guests, though we’re sorry if they came across as restrictive. We will take this on board as we look at how we present site information. We also appreciate your comments about access to the site. While the surrounding area is still being developed, we hope guests will continue to benefit from the peaceful setting and nearby walks. Thank you again for your feedback – it helps us identify areas where we can improve, and we do hope to welcome you back in the future.

Wells, Somerset, England
Primitive grass and earth campsite
Liked Beautiful views , open fields , fresh air, good location for Wookey hole , cheddar gorge and Glastonbury
Disliked Road to and from campsite very tight steep and windy, would seriously advise not take a caravan as no decent or safe passing places if you were to met another caravan coming down you are both in trouble,

From the manager: We are so glad you enjoyed your time with us David! Thanks for the lovely photos. It sounds like you came up from Wookey Hole which as you say, is a very tight, windy road in places, fine for cars of course but if you are in a larger vehicle or towing a caravan, we recommend using the Wells Road and coming to us from the other side. If you are coming from Wells, just head towards 'Green Ore' and the Priddy turning is just before you reach it on the left hand side. It's a much more suitable road. Just something to bear in mind for next time! See you when you return! Ebborways Farm
