Power optional cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Where do we start?! The location, views, peace and tranquility, wildlife (resident chickens and rooster and daily up close visits by quite a few red kites) The facilities are clean and well maintained. The food truck visit on Saturday night was an unexpected treat. The site is a short, picturesque drive to a number of attractions and beaches. The owners are really friendly, welcoming and helpful. The electric hookup is metered on a prepay system but any unused credit is refunded (to the next pound).
We were also treated to a spectacular sky full of stars as there is zero light pollution.
The site doesn't have the bells and whistles of some others that we've visited but this is by no means a down side. It allows you to just slow down from everyday life and recharge.
Disliked A floor squeegee to remove excess water in the bathrooms would be great (they're all wet room style) Maybe some ventilation would be a bonus, especially as the weather was so hot.

Liked Everything!! It is obvious a lot of thought has been put in to the layout and facilities. The pitches are perfectly level and there were no issues with the hook up. The facilities were spotlessly clean and warm and the electric sockets were placed perfectly! The dog wash at the rear of the toilet block is a great idea and has been installed in a great way. The local wildlife kept us entertained, spotting a deer on the first night! The large field was great for dog walks, an enclosed area where we could let our greyhound off the lead to burn off some energy would be perfect

FHU cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite (medium, adults only)
Liked Really clean, well maintained site. The grounds were really nice and the facilities were spotless. Ideal location for the places we wanted to visit in the area. Good size level pitch, although some others looked like they would have needed ramps. This is the first site we've used where we had to pay for electric but this only came to 40p over 3 days so very reasonable. Bonus points for the donkeys and lama near the entrance!!
Disliked Nothing really to dislike

Liked Really quiet peaceful site. The facilities were kept spotless and the grounds are well maintained. We enjoyed watching the resident cats playing. There is a £5 deposit for the toilet block keys which we didn't have a problem with. The showers work on tokens but the water is hot instantly and there is plenty of time to shower. The pitches are level with easy access to the hook up point. The owners were accommodating to an enquiry we had prior to arrival. Overall a great stay and a site we will be returning to

Liked We booked one of the pitches in the adult only section. The site is really peaceful and really well maintained. The toilets and shower blocks are spotless and everything worked. The grounds are well looked after. The option to buy breakfast pastries was an unexpected surprise! The road to the site is a little tight but there are passing places so no problem if you take it slow. The location is perfect and we heard and saw lots of wildlife
Disliked Nothing at all

Liked The grounds were well maintained with good size, fairly level pitches. The bar looked nice from the outside but we didn't go in so can't comment further. No issues with checking in and the could of questions we had were answered quickly.
Disliked Fortunately we had a large pitch which gave us some room. A lot of the other pitches looked crammed in with not much space between. While the toilet block itself was well maintained my fiancé found the women's toilets and showers dirty. Unfortunately this is a problem that doesn't seem confined to this site. The showers are the push button type which my fiance struggles with due to a condition with her wrists so we had to use the family bathroom where I could operate the shower for her, something to consider if you have similar issues. In contrast to the ladies facilities, this was always really clean and well looked after.
