Blue bell tent
Liked We liked pretty much everything. The area is peaceful and spacious. The bell tent itself was comfortable, well decorated and well equipped. It came with basically everything we needed (including a nice BBQ tool kit). We appreciated the use of the fire-pit and the fridge to keep a few things cool.
The toilets and showers were nice and clean.
The host, Colin, was very friendly and approachable and made us feel really welcome. He had some nice tips on places to visit and was usually accompanied by his nice doggies!
We had a wonderful stay and would definitely wish to stay again if we're back in the New Forest

Primitive grass tent campsite (small)
Liked Pretty much everything - Howard and his family were wonderful and so accommodating. The surroundings were absolutely beautiful, and so peaceful. The facilities were clean and access to the little kitchen area was a fantastic added bonus when it came to storing some of our food. The shower was quite possibly the highligh / best shower ever! We would definitely camp here again whenever we come to East Devon.

From the manager: Thank you so much, Leila — what a joy to read your review... sorry my response is so late! We’re delighted you enjoyed your stay and found the orchard peaceful and the facilities just right. It means a lot to hear such kind words about the shower (we’re quietly proud of that one... especially after it's recent revamp!) and the kitchen area too — it’s lovely when those little touches help make the stay even smoother. It was a real pleasure having you here — thank you again for your warmth and positivity. We’d love to welcome you back anytime you’re in East Devon! Thanks, Howard & Fiona
