Liked This is a lovely site. It's very quiet and peaceful. There is nice woodland walk too. Facilities are very good and spotlessly clean. I would definately choose to stay here again if I'm back down this way.
Disliked Radio constantly on in the bathroom, very annoying and ruins the otherwise peace of the location.

Liked Nice quiet site, in a peaceful location within walking distance of the town. Clean facilities.
Disliked The snack bar was closed and I was told it is only open on a Saturday which makes no sense to me.

Primitive grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked I stopped here in my campervan on my way home from France. This is a lovely site on a working farm which is always my preference due to being as close to wild camping without actually being in the wilds alone. It was very quiet and peaceful, not a sound was heard and I slept really well! Dark sky too, a bonus on a clear night! Owner emailed with all the directions and information that was required. I loved the quirky interior of the facilities, really authentic and in keeping with the setting. Facilities were spotlessly clean! Not sure why people complain about gates to open - you're camping so its hardly a problem to get out of your vehicle for a few minutes! Also assures you of safety and security which being a solo traveller I value highly! Highly important in my opinion.
Disliked Nothing at all to dislike.

Liked I stopped here for one night during a road trip in my campervan. I received a very warm welcome from Marc at reception whose English was very good. He was very helpful advising of places to visit in the area which I had not known about. Lovely site, very clean. Would definately stay again if I am ever back this way.

Liked Lovely estate with some beautiful walks. Peaceful
Disliked People parking overnight in nearby car park and using the facilties. Why pay when you can do that. Paying customers should have a key for toilets and showers or put a code on the door
