Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked Excellent rural site, has good clean amenities with lots of little touches obviously thought about by the hosts, the hosts are friendly, welcoming and readily available if you need any help or just to say hi, beautiful settling with only the sounds of nature and the darkest sky at night for star gazing or just sitting in peace. Hot clean shower (£4 for 4 mins, so don’t forget your pennies!) excellent communication from the hosts before and during our stay - even noticing I had booked the wrong dates to the rest of our party and reaching out to fix my error! Make sure you put the property name into the sat nav along with the postcode and won’t miss it.

From the manager: Thank you for your lovely review! We soon sorted your mix up with the booking dates with no problem at all. The shower is £1 for 4 minutes 😊 We would welcome you back here anytime. Jack and Mandy

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked The site is within walking distance to manorbier beach, it has warm showers and clean toilets that were both well maintained. The site has a separate field for camping to the campervans & caravans but it looks like you could pitch with friends if your camping and they have a van. The site is super peaceful, in our time there everyone abided by the 11pm noise curfew and it was silent from around 1030. The lady at the reception couldnt have been more helpful and friendly, providing lots of information about the site and nearest supermarket. She made us feel very welcome and even came out to give our dog a fuss. The site does have quite a tight road so if you take the wrong route towing a caravan I can imagine it’s a bit nerve racking but they did provide instructions regarding the route to take to arrive. We camped non electric. The washing up area had hot and cold water to wash up which is a bonus as a lot of sites we go to only have cold. All in all a great location to all of the beautiful beaches, temby was 15 mins away, Pembroke dock is 25 mins away and this is where the supermarket is. There is a shop in the little village which is walking distance and that has essentials but obviously it’s slightly higher priced. There is a small pub and 2 restaurants in the village but we didn’t go so I can’t comment on these.
Would return again if we visit the area.

Horstead, Norfolk, England
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Lovely campsite with clean toilets and hot showers, the resident animals were an added bonus and if you choose the top of the field you can be close to them to watch them go about their day, good location to Norwich and getting out and about in Norfolk, they don’t have elec hook up but there is an elec outlet at the shower cabin which we used to blow up our airbed (as it was elec and had no manual pump) site owner had great communication and it was easy to find all in all a great little site for a couple of days
