Powered gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked The layout of pitches, everything close to Motorhome, electric and water.
Disliked Distance to shower rooms, ok for me but not ok for someone with walking issues. Also….1 sink for washing dishes at top of site, only has a cold water tap? Tents at extreme end of site need this more than anyone. Hot water tap needed no one can wash up dishes in cold water and can’t carry hot water up Site to do so.

FHU gravel and cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked Loved this park, a great welcome from the owner and shown a great pitch for views, facilities immaculate, toiletries available to use if you’ve forgotten. Loved the little shop with honesty box, everything thought of, fridge, freezer food too. Homemade cakes, tablet etc. The restaurant supplied good meals, even a pick up on a Friday night different choices. It’s open Fridays and Saturday. The village is a short walk, the lower village a bit longer 25 mins, nice harbour… bus stop outside park entrance for St Andrews X58.

Power optional cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked A great find. Electric hook up fresh water, black waste, there are no toilets on this site, the nearest a 5 minute drive to Fort Augustus. It’s tidy and well layed out. There’s a child’s play area at the back for area, some houses at the side.
Paid on arrival, friendly service.
Toilets wood be great

Power optional grass campsite
Liked What a place, immaculate restaurant, wonderful staff and owners, food great. The facilities were spotless, pitches are grass with water and electric on each pitch. Pay extra for electric. The Lowther arms have put Mawbray on the map. So when you’re in Southernness look across the Solway Firth, that’s Mawbray, well worth a visit! Opens at 12, book a table even if you’re not staying on pitch.
