Disliked There was loud bass driven electronic music on the Fri and Sat night some of this where car stereos from boy-racer cars staying on site The portable toilets where somewhat ripe by the end of the weekend. People where just bagging their rubbish up and leaving it on their pitch or stacked by the entrance.

From the manager: Thanks for stopping with us it does state in the listing on pitch up that we ask people to take their rubbish away with them and that quiet times are between 9:30 pm to 7am unfortunately due to running a farming/ground works/fabrication business we can’t be onsite 24 hours a day to enforce these rules all the time it’s shame a small few spoil it for others

Liked Adults only camping and low numbers. No campers and people with boatloads of children. Quiet and dark. Pitches well spaced except for the one nearest the lake. Firepits. Good basic facilities for people wanting some 'me' time. Hosts nice and non-intrusive. Restrictions on dogs running loose. Very clean campsite. No litter. Toilet basic but clean and functional.

Disliked Firepits for some pitches have access paths between them and the tent or running close to them. Would be nicer if you could have the back of your tent towards the path and the firepit in front given that most people here are looking for a bit of peace.
