Oak Woodland primitive forest floor tent campsite
Liked Everybody was extremely nice and helpful. The site is very nice, our pitch was quiet and private. Very good facilities, clean toilets, showers and washing up area. A well stocked bar and also a shop, there is a communal freezer too. We had a really good pizza one of the nights, sourdough base cooked in a wood fired oven. Amazing walks available, the estuary is only a couple of minutes away.

Express primitive grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite (no cars)
Liked Lovely campsite, really easy to find. The hosts are very helpful and friendly. The pitch was really nice, with our own toilet and shower block and washing up area, we had to share it with some other campers but only because we stayed one night, I believe if you stay 2 or more nights it's all to yourself. For £10 you can have an open fire with unlimited wood. There is a quiet room with wi-fi and a sofa where you can chill and buy some basics. Betty the lamb was the highlight of the stay!

From the manager: Hello, thank you for your kind words. The express pitches are always shared facilities,( and is reflected in the price ) ideal for walkers ,cyclists and drop- ins for mostly one nighters. We also have ensuite Jumbo pitches with private facilities minimum stay two nights, includes picnic bench, tarpauline, fire pit and fire wood ( free) and your own shower cubicle and compost toilet. I hope this explains it a bit better. Anne & Eva

Primitive forest floor tent campsite (medium)
Liked Our usual spot in the woods, tidy and quiet. Clean toilets nearby. My son really enjoyed the air rifle shooting, Richard was very helpful as well as the other man we spoke to who came to see how we were doing twice (sorry I don't know the name!). Lovely walks.

Liked Really quiet pitch, very spacious and clean. Toilets and washing up facilities really close. The hosts are really nice, helpful and friendly. Lovely walk in the woods and ponds to explore.
Disliked Some of the trails were really muddy but I suppose that's just bad luck (it rained a lot the previous days).

Camping pod
Liked Beautiful quiet location. The pod was extremely clean and so were the toilets and the shower. We had a camp cooker, camping chairs and even a welcome drink left for us. The view from the porch is amazing, we really enjoyed it.
