Newquay, Cornwall, England
Powered grass campsite (family)
Liked 20 acre field - lots of space
friendly staff
spacious toilet block and showers - plenty of them, no queues
Disliked quite far to toilets, but can't have it both ways (lots of space being the trade off)

Cockermouth, Cumbria, England
Paddock powered gravel and cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked Location, proximity in driving time to much of the Lake District, despite it being at the top of the NP.
Facilities, very clean and excellent showers and toilets.
Facilities, table tennis + pool, climbing frame.
Site, stone circle, open feeling, chickens roaming free, rare breed sheep.
The view from the hard standing pitch down to Bassenthwaite Lake.
We didn't use the indoor 'lounge area, but it looked like an excellent place to chill, read a book, play cards.
Disliked It's not really a dislike: I feel it would be useful to have a couple of extra toilets / showers.

Padstow, Cornwall, England
Beach Field Zone 3 powered grass campsite
Liked Proximity to beach and South West Coastal Path.
Disliked Distance to toilets from beach field.
Toilets not the cleanest.
While the pitch was a generous size, there were far too many people crammed in to the field, and therefore not enough open space.
