Power optional grass campsite
Liked Location good, only 10 mins to coldstream or Berwick
Disliked Where to begin...what a dump....the pics on pitch up are not current..they are old and out of date ...the pub " the salutation inn" has apparently been closed for years...all boarded up and was raided a few weeks ago for growing cannabis in there...the site is a dirty field...there are approx 22 statics at the start of the "park" ..some are lovely, well kept with nice people ...the rest look like a shanty town...the "reception "is a dirty caravan with stop sighs outside...the touring pitches were at the bottom of the field approx 150_200 yds from toilets ...which were disgusting...( We used our own facilities) There is no access for disabled customers either to the toilets or showers...( Even though it says there are)there is no separate gray waste, the chemical toilet waste and the gray waste are the same and is an uncovered manhole behind the toilets..only 1 water tap that we were told but it had so many hose extensions on it you had to play water jenga to get the one that filled your bottle .you are right next to a main road which is constant however this does quieten down on a night
Although dog friendly there are no dedicated dog walking facilities on site...we did meet some lovely people in some of the statics...the only good thing about it bar location...there is a sign saying under new management...however that has been there quite a while ...and the owners " don't give a s++t"
we were told...we use pitch up all year round but I think as a company you need to investigate this place ...it's shambolic ...

Liked Really nice open site close to shops etc, toilets and showers really clean and well stocked with toilet roll and hand wash...
Disliked No dog walk area so always needed to go out in car to walk dogs and bad opening into site ...maybe needed mirrors to see what's coming before you pull out

Liked Everything...sadly we only stayed 1 night as we're travelling further on but it's a lovely peaceful site...loved the restaurant tent and spent a bomb in the on site farm shop but definitely worth it . Really enjoyed that it's adult only ...we will be back
