Primitive grass tent campsite (two person)
Liked We liked that there was only one other tent on the whole field. Good location.
Disliked Noise of the main rd was constant a llnight. Don't think we went to sleep. Needs shower facilities and a proper toilet block. 2 port a loos on sight and a tap for drinking water

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Great campsite, plenty of space, there are two fields and only 10 tents allowed on the site so we felt like we had the site to ourselfs. Jeremy the site manager was really helpfull and his knowledge of the area and wildlife was really good.
Disliked I wasn't too keen on the shower as you have to pay three pound for 15 mins, I think it could do with a coin meter in there with a timer on it, then I wouldn't have to walk round the site to pay. The main thing what put me off this site was the noise coming from a near by farm, the farmer works nights and has a folk lift truck so all through the night you can hear his reverse horn constantly through the night. I spoke to the site manager and he says it's like this all the time.

From the manager: Thanks for the review you book a shower on arrival and the milking farm operates its machinery for 2 months a year in peak times this not all the time thankyou
