If near the recycling area you can be woken early by collection lorry. Pitches very close together so expect noise from neighbours.

Liked Wonderful friendly welcome. Given a tour of facilities and shown to our pitch. We had EHU and a tap is located on the pitch too to save that walk across a field for water. Very clean grey water and chemical loo disposal area.
Immaculate toilet block with laundry facilities and washing up area. Gorgeous hot showers and even a hairdryer and make up mirrors - luxury!
There is a small shop with essentials and you can order a coffee or tea here.
Book exchange and some games for children plus information on areas of interest and places to eat are very useful extras.
The wake to a view of Pen y Fan is special.
The Black Mountain activity centre is down the road where we hired a canoe for a leisurely paddle down the canal.
The owners really care about their guests and provide an excellent experience,
We cannot fault this site and will return.
Disliked There is road noise but the positives outweigh this for us.

From the manager: Hi Tracy, excellent review, glad you were relaxed on your stay with us, I think the owl moved in a couple of weeks ago, and as we're actively trying to attract owls to the park, I'm glad you mentioned you'd heard one, see you next year. Kind regards Allan, Tracy and the Borders Team
