Llangammarch Wells, Powys, Wales
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked I liked the calm, quiet aesthetic of the campsite.
The field is well kept, facilities are clean and very good.
There are a few extras around the site that I enjoyed seeing, like Jerry's Museum, and the alpaca field.
The hosts themseles were a delight and were super friendly, and focused on delivering a great experience.

Okehampton, Devon, England
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked I like the quiet, that you can hear farm animals as the main sound rather than traffic.
The pitches are a good size, and the facilities are decent!
This site is quite quirky with it's own stone circle, fairy glen, pigs you can talk to, and a lot of green space to enjoy.

Langholm, Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland
Power optional grass campsite
Liked The pitch was a good size, it was obvious where the pitches were too.
Facilities were basic but fully usable and to be honest, there were enough of them to service the size of the camp site.
Hosts were nice and welcoming on arrival, their animals both in the site and the fields were so friendly, it was like being in a Disney movie.
Views are good too, big hills close by.

Leven, Fife, Scotland
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked The site was reasonably nice, well located and felt slightly isolated though it's not far from a town. The park gardens and walled garden are fantastic and excellent for looking around and taking a walk.
There are three separate toilet and shower rooms, one of which is disabled adapted. I found these to be more than adequate, clean and well-provisioned.
Disliked There is little to no cover from any wind coming in from the west / south west, which is the prevailing direction.

Sedbergh, Cumbria, England
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked We liked the location, it's quiet and not where people heading to either the Dales or Lakes usually venture.
The owner is friendly and came to see that we had had a good time while we stayed.
The tent field is flat and quite free of rocks, which is a refreshing change, as I have stayed in sites where it's hard to pitch before. The pitches here are also spacious, allowing for plenty of space around a tent.
The facilities are very basic, but that's what is advertised, no surprises (aside from how nice the place is)
There are lots of places to walk close by, some beautiful mountains too.
Disliked Nothing to really dislike.
