Powered grass campsite
Liked Lovely place! The man who showed us to our pitch was friendly and helpful. The stream was brilliant for the kids. They loved having a paddle and trying to get across on the stones. The toilet block was really clean and we liked that the showers were proper showers and not push button ones. The showers are free to use even though the pitch up listing says otherwise. There’s a washing up area and a freezer for ice packs, I also noticed that there was a washing machine and tumble dryer that you could pay to use. It’s quite a small campsite so nice and peaceful but the kids still found other kids to play football with. There isn’t much mobile signal but the WiFi is great. We will definitely return!

Owls Nest shepherd's hut
Liked All the little extra touches such as toys for the kids, washing up liquid at the pot washing area. Feminine hygiene products in a little basket in the toilets, lots of camping equipment that can be borrowed.
We stayed 2 adults and 2 small kids in the owls nest and 2 older kids in the foxes den and we have had a brilliant time.
