Liked Penhale Campsite delivered an absolutely awesome week-long stay for our group, and we would happily go back in a heartbeat. From start to finish, everything about the site made our holiday smooth, relaxing, and thoroughly enjoyable. The facilities were top-notch—impeccably clean and genuinely well-appointed. Having access to spotlessly maintained showers and washing-up areas made a huge difference for a larger group over seven days, and the shared fridge and freezer was an absolute lifesaver for keeping food and drinks fresh. The location itself is simply wonderful. Being able to take a peaceful walk straight down to the beach along the bridleway close to the campsite added so much magic to our days. To top it all off, the owners were so lovely, incredibly welcoming, and keen to help in any way they could. If you are looking for a fantastic seaside getaway, Penhale is a total gem!

Liked A lovely place to camp with easy access to Wimbleball Lake. The owners are very welcoming, informative and friendly. They even put out a giant bubble making set for the kids. The site is very clean with excellent shower and washing up facilities. I would definitely recommend.
