Liked The tranqulity and solstice of the frost hole. The friendliness and helpfulness of the owners who were also so kind to my 7 year old son. The ease of access to miles upon miles of amazing hiking, mountain biking and lakes for wild swimming and fishing. Short walk into the local town for any supplies. The shower was amazing after a long day walking, mountain biking and fishing. The toilets were the cleanest portaloos I’ve ever been in! Unreal dark skies on a clear night. A really safe place for kids to explore and play with so many opportunities within a couple of minutes to be climbing on rocks, exploring a forest, searching for tarns and climbing to peaks.
