Fairy Shop

  • Magical 20 acres allows plenty of space
  • Working Farm with lots of animals
  • In Central Florida on the way to everywhere
This former sanctuary for retired circus animals still has animal compounds that have endured since the 1990’s. Our little farm is still being built and renovated but currently houses (too) many friendly chickens, ducks, geese, goats, a tortoise and one spoiled turkey named Percy. We usually have baby chicks and a special coop of our Silkies. The barnyard has a fence enclosing it with a camping area at the north end of the property. You have 5 acres to select your perfect spot to enjoy the nurturing energy from the area. Magic is a part of our farm and we are slowly adding fairy nooks and vignettes in the camping area. These will continue to expand monthly. We also have a Fairy Shop for all your fairy garden needs. Whether it is a garden that has grown over the years or you are ready to invite the fairies with a new one, we have a large selection of handmade and curated items. Find your own magic at our farm to take back home with you! If you want to get your hands in the dirt, I can work with you to pot your own cuttings and plants to take with you. Also, if you would like a Tarot Card reading, that is also available. The acres are home to friendly (hand raised and released) squirrels and flying squirrels. Lightening bugs flitter during their seasonal arrival and the stars are amazingly bright at night. We are happy to share fresh eggs from our hens. The duck eggs are delicious as well. Our goats are friendly and since we have added two Great Pyrenees pups, we have a much more relaxed overnight barnyard. We are surrounded by thousands of acres of woods, swamps, and wilderness so we have had panthers, bears, bobcats and other wildlife that have visited the farm. Fortunately, they shy away from humans and the dogs have an eye on the property 24 hours a day and we haven’t seen any predators since they arrived. We are close to Gainesville, Silver Springs, Jacksonville and about 60 miles from the beach. Beautiful Florida destinations are all around us. Come to Firefly and relax, rejuvenate, regroup, recline and soak in the healing of nature.
