- 300 Acre Farm, Ranch and Woodland. Large cave part of Underground Railroad and other special validations. Creeks, hiking trials, historic cemetery recently found and recorded. Several historical events happen at farm.
Cabin build in 1860's. Restored overlooks private 1 acre pond in the rolling hills. Short walks to cave and creeks. Access to 4 wheeler if needed. Farm is organic and certified regenerative. Raise grass-fed beef and pasture raised pork.
Farm was commandeered by Chief White Eye, General John Hunt Morgan also came thru the area as part of Morgan Raiders during the Civil War. Cave is large had over 100 people in entrance. Water always running thru it. Part of the underground rail road.
Farm was used for a Horror Movie Gnawbone. Independent film that won awards. Currently have explores research the Reno Gang. The first train robbery in the USA.
Farm was well know for tourism in late 1800 and early 1900s so the state build road leading to the cave. At one time there was a 2 story Inn near the mouth of the cave. Later in 1920 to before WWII the farm was know for entertainment and performing arts.
In 1910'2 University of Harvard did a study of the New Albany Slate Rock in front of the cave. Cave is know as Lloyd or Loyd cave or Wilson Cave. I bought the ward from Opal Nix who married a Wilson but her name was only one on the deed! She worked in brothel in Cincinnati then later paid cash for the farm. Orginakl owner family from Philly and sighed the declaration of Independence.
Everything is organic at the farm. The cabin was French built based upon experts due to the fact how it was built. A great place to enjoy the soil, Sole and your Soul.

Route directions
Locate State Road 256 and 1000 W, Turn North then take the next left on to Henry Road going west. Take the next right next to green house (your first left) 1025 West. Gravel Road. Go half mile turn right down lane - gravel road. Will see large Black Estate Fence. Go 1 mile and will see house and barns. Welcome home!
