Ready for some time on the Turkish coast? Perhaps a quick escape from city life in Antalya? Check out Çekirdeksiz Mandalin Camping, in a splendid spot in the seaside resort of Kemer, about 40 minutes’ drive from Antalya. The site’s name translates to ‘seedless tangerine’ and it’s a very fitting name – this place is indeed tucked away in a lush tangerine grove, with pine trees also adding to the shade, the scent and the sense of peace. The town’s beaches are just a few minutes’ walk away (with all sorts of fun activities available, like diving, jetskiing, wakeboarding and banana boats) but this attractive setting also means you’ll also have a gorgeous backdrop of the Bey Mountains to look up at from your pitch. The relaxed, nature-filled atmosphere on site may well make you feel like you’re right out in the countryside, but in fact it’s only a few minutes’ walk from the site to the downtown area for shops, places to eat, bars and nightlife, allowing you to dip in and out of the town's buzz as you please. All of that means this is a very convenient base for a seaside holiday – and there’s a good list of convenient facilities on site too, including clean toilets, showers (with 24-hour hot water), a wifi connection, a launderette and a washing-up area. Barbecues are permitted, and there’s also a stove available for guest use, plus large shared fridges for stashing all your food and drinks.

Local attractions

You could easily spend several days here without even leaving Kemer – the town’s sandy beaches are lovely to relax on, and there are various watersports to try out including jetskiing, banana boats and parasailing. Tour agencies in town can also sort out boat trips, scuba diving, snorkelling and other activities including river rafting in the Göynük Canyon. For a quieter day, make your way to Moon Light park (25 minutes’ walk), a garden with a private beach area and cafés. Head just a little way out of town and you can take a walk in the hills at Calis Tepesi, shoot down the waterslides at Dolusu Park Kemer or step into the past at Phaselis Ancient City. They’re all about 10 minutes’ drive away, as is Çamyuva beach for a change of seaside scenery. For a longer day out, head to Olympos (40 minutes’ drive) to explore the ancient city before taking a refreshing swim from the beach, or book a boat trip from Adrasan (45 minutes) to Suluada, an uninhabited known as the ‘Turkish Maldives’ because of its gorgeous white sands and clear turquoise waters.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Dogs

Dogs must be kept on leashes and supervised at all times.
