  • Glamping site on the shores of Anna’s Lake, with kids and dogs welcome
  • Xàtiva 20 minutes’ drive; Valencia an hour
  • Cycle hire, plus all-day restaurant with waterfront terrace
Halfway between Valencia (an hour’s drive) and Alicante (an hour and 15 minutes), Anna Glamping is not named after some mysterious woman, but after nearby Anna’s Lake. The site itself is split into three zones, so that different types of guests can tailor their camping experience to their own needs. Therefore, a child-free couple might choose to stay in the Adults-Only Zone, for example, while families head to the area with a playground, and those travelling with their canine companions settle in the Pet-Friendly Zone, with fenced pitches and dog trails. Regardless of where you choose to be, Anna’s set-up is conducive to absolute relaxation, whether it’s having a siesta in a hammock (after encouraging the children to join the activities run by the kids’ club…) or exploring the lake area. This is a pretty enchanting spot with a central island inhabited by ducks and herons, hiking trails through a lush pine forest, pretty waterfalls and a separate natural pool for your wild-swimming needs. (If lake waters don't appeal, there’s a pool on site, too.) Alternatively, you could go for a gentle bike ride through this remarkably lush corner of eastern Spain (indeed, so lush, some refer to it as a Valencian Switzerland). Bikes are available to hire on site. Elsewhere on site, a restaurant with a lakeside terrace serves regional meals and tapas throughout the day. Other amenities include showers and a launderette.

Powered grass and gravel travel trailer campsite

Keine Animation
Keine getrennten Bereiche
Kein Willkommenspaket für Hunde oder eingezäunte Bereiche
Grüne Gras- Stellplätze

Was es gibt:
Ameisen
Lärm von öffentlichen Gästen am Badeloch
Unklare Regelungen für Tor und Eingang
Ein See, den man nicht nutzen kann

From the manager: Hola!

Saludos!

Bell tent (four person)

Local attractions

On the outskirts of the nearby town of Anna (five minutes’ drive), the Palace of the Counts of Cervellón started life in the 12th century as a Moorish residence. The long pool in the courtyard and the light-filled hall decorated with intricate tiles date from this period. The building was heavily renovated in Baroque style in the 1600s, and today it houses an ethnographic collection. Xàtiva (20 minutes) sits in the foothills of the Sierra del Castell mountains, where the town’s double fortress can be reached via a series of vertiginous hairpin bends. After descending back into town, stop for a beer in Plaça del Mercat before checking out the archaeological artefacts at the Almudín de Játiva museum. In Valencia (an hour), stroll along the Jardín del Turia, in a former riverbed, to reach the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias. Largely designed by local star architect Santiago Calatrava, this futuristic hub includes a science museum, the Palau de Les Arts Reina Sofía cultural centre and an IMAX cinema – all reflected in shallow pools.
