Step forward Camping Conil, 10 minutes’ drive from lively Playa de la Fontanilla beach and the pretty ‘white town’ of Conil de la Frontera. Yes, family-friendly Camping Conil provides a touch of luxury in stylish accommodation – each unit with its own private seating area under the shade of trees. You can pretty much park your car, drop off your luggage and start your holiday straight away. But where to head first? Perhaps the swimming pool for a refreshing dip – and if that’s not enough to keep the kids occupied, join daily organised activities run by the in-house entertainment team. If you’re still looking for more action, find the sports courts to play padel, or hire a bike from reception to explore the Andalucian countryside. Staff there can also arrange all sorts of other sporty stuff like surfing lessons and pony trekking. Left anything vital behind at home? Chances are you’ll find it in the well-stocked on-site supermarket. No need to stir from the glampsite to eat, either. There’s service from breakfast to late-night supper at the welcoming restaurant with a terrace overlooking the pool.

Disliked Los baños bien pero faltan bancos y zonas de apoyo para dejar la ropa , bolsa de aseo etc mientras te duchas o aseas.
Faltan zonas de césped , se levanta mucho polvo.
La piscina está turbia.

Liked Just perfect!!! The park has really good facilities (only really missed an ATM and a 'changing cubicle' in the shower to comfortably dry and get dressed after it)!
Great layout and atmosphere around the park!
Our Almadraba Tipi was super comfortable and bigger than expected! The beds and bedding were better than many 5 star hotels! Loved the quality of the pillows and the linen! Very clean and with all the necessary comforts like coffee machine and a small fridge. There is plenty of space to have a small sofa and maybe another small clothes hanging rack... 1 was not enough for the 5 of us! A drying rack would have been handy as well to hang the towels/swim suits at the end of the day! Overall we were super happy with TAIGA Conil and would love to return one day... or try other Taiga campsites around Spain! Our dog Mali seemed to like it as well :)

Disliked A little too noisy beyond unsociable hours but I guess you cannot control all the noisy people/neighbours in a camping park! It is something that one that decides to camp must accept ;)
The pool could have been a little better - more modern and cleaner but the kids loved it!

Liked Las instalaciones en general y personal muy atento.

Disliked El mantenimiento de la piscina lo hacían los campistas. El agua estaba muy sucia y llena de bichos todo el tiempo. Uno de los reclamos que tiene es el respeto absoluto en lo que respecta al horario de descanso y tuvimos que llamar varias veces por la noche porque hacían mucho ruido las tiendas colindantes en diferentes días. El personal era consciente y aun eso no decían nada hasta que llamabas.

Should you feel the need to move from your little patch of pine-scented forest, Conil de la Frontera (10 minutes’ drive) is an Andalucian ‘white town’, with winding streets leading to the squat Torre de Guzmán – once part of the defence fortifications – and the sparkling-white, 15th-century Church of Santa Catalina. Learn about local tuna-fishing traditions at La Chanca – a former fish-processing factory and now an interactive museum – and then head for the beach at Cala Encendida cove (15 minutes) or the sandy expanse at Playa Fuente del Gallo (10 minutes). Linger in the evening to join the nightly parade from tapas bar to tapas bar along the seafront. Venture further afield to spectacular Cádiz (35 minutes) to tour the Teatro Romano, Castillo de Santa Catalina and Catedral de Cádiz (climb the Poniente Tower for views out over the city to the sea). When all the culture has been attended to, head for La Viña for dinner in the lively Plaza de Santa María Square, or have a potter around shops and bars in the labyrinthine Barrio del Pópulo (Old Town).
