- Family-friendly site in spectacular mountain scenery in Lower Silesia
- Peaceful setting close to the Czech Republic and German borders
- Playgrounds, sandpit, activities, restaurant, bar and hammocks
If you're anywhere around Poland's south west, or seeking a serene spot after some time in Wroclaw, Camp 66 is your place to pitch up. There are spectacular views from here, along with a big and well-landscaped setting, a peaceful vibe and – essential – a bar, a restaurant, and hammocks for some serious idling.
Camp 66 is fully family-friendly too, with playgrounds and a sandpit to get stuck into, and a summer outdoor pool for all ages to splash around among this mountain setting. There's loads of space to run around, drumming sessions for all ages, and workshops on a nicely varied range of topics including stained glass, beekeeping and making pizza and gingerbread.
The site also has a cosy and communal log cabin for guests' use, with toys aplenty for small sorts as well as a covered patio with comfy armchairs for the grownups, tables, swings, a fireplace with wood-fired barbecue, and the aforementioned snuggly hammocks. Then a much recommended pursuit is to investigate the Camp 66 restaurant, which dishes up local and traditional dishes in a handsome setting with more mountain views.
Around the region for exploring, Camp 66's Jelenia Góra County and Lower Silesia locale is under 10 minutes' stroll from the village of Ściegny, near the Czech Republic and German borders and 15 minutes' drive from the cable car and ski resort of Kopa.
