It's free, quick and easy!
- Scenic and family-friendly site on the Tuscany coast
- Aqua park with Olympic pool, entertainment and activities
- Adventure trail, restaurant, candy store and well-stocked shop
Cor, that's an aqua park and a half… Have a stay at lush Park Albatros Village to splash around to your watery little heart's content: as well as the fab Olympic pool and waterpark, the site is on the Tuscan coast close to the gorge Gulf of Baratti. Tuscan family seaside holiday? Sorted.
All sorts of services have been set up here by the friendly and dedicated site team, such as regular entertainment and activities, a kids' club, bike hire and a playground. There's also Bar Laguna, right by the aqua park and serving light lunches, aperitifs and ice cream – a sip or two in the sunshine after a swim? Also sorted.
And there's an adventure trail right on site too. Wander down to the Albatros pine wood to tackle walks on the suspended bridges, air jumps, pulleys and nets: you can treat yourself to some sugar at the site candy store afterwards and then take the kids on the mini train making its way around the grounds…
Also among the many other options offered on site are the Albatros restaurant, a bazaar with gift shop, a roomy information point, a scenic terrace, and a mini market filled with camping gear, national and international newspapers, gluten-free products and tasty food.

Local attractions
You really could stay on site for your whole hol at Park Albatros Village given its size and the huge amounts of things to do, but it's set on such a gorge part of the Tuscany coast that days out around there must (must) be had too.
A definite early stop should be the beaut Gulf of Baratti, between the Ligurian and Tyrrhenian seas: it was once one of the most important Etruscan ports in these parts, and these days is popular with divers, snorkellers, beach baskers and wildlife watchers.
Also get along to local little medieval villages like Campiglia and Suvereto, and to the Archaeological Park of Baratti and Populonia, close to the Baratti gulf at Piombino and covering over 80 hectares of archaeological sites relating to the ancient Etruscan city of Populonia.
Porto Piombino, ten minutes' drive from the site, is another popular option in the area; from here, catch the ferry over for the cycling, wildlife watching and more spectacular scenery of the island of Elba.
