Safe, serene and with direct access to a private stretch of Maremma Coast sand – what a beaut this Tuscan site is. Gitavillage Le Marze is on the Tuscan coast in the centre of a lush, dense pine forest which extends over an area of nearly 50 acres. It has direct access to its own private beach, stacks of stuff to do on site (including a treetop adventure park; how fab), its own dog park (also fab) and dog showers (fabbest). If you're hitting the beach first (smart plan), it's a short walk from through the thickly cool pine forest to the site's own peaceful and private beach. The Tyrrhenian Sea waters here are clear, clean and safe for small splashers: let the tiddlers paddle while you bask under a parasol with a drink from the site's splendid beach bar. The many leisure activities at this Grosseto province base include a family-friendly treetop adventure course, made up of seven paths winding around Tibetan and axe bridges, barrels and pulleys (instructors are on hand to show you the ropes if you need help). Another must is the splendid pool, lifeguarded and with parasols and sun loungers alongside; more actively, there are ping pong tables and tennis, fishing and bike hire, and a fine big playground under the trees with loads of room all around. Activities run from morning to night for all ages, ranging from baby dance every evening in the amphitheatre to cabaret, music and variety shows around the site. Sports activities and a kids' club are arranged during the day: there's something on almost every hour here, so even fussy sorts should find something to dive into. Traditional Maremman dishes, local wines, fresh meat, fish, wood-oven pizzas and kids' menus are among the options at the restaurant, set spaciously on a patio under the pine forest.

Liked: Tutto bello e rilassante. Abbiamo passato una bellissima vacanza in un posto meraviglioso è ben curato molto pulito e ben tenuto. 1 dei punti di forza e la magnifica squadra di animatori che a partire dal mattino in spiaggia fino alla serata sapevano fare divertire adulti e bambini bellissimo il parco avventura. I 2 bar all'interno sono ben curati e il personale gentile e preparato ottimo anche il ristorante mentre la pizza nel forno a legna e da 10 e lode comodissimo il noleggio biciclette e a prezzi modici per la spiaggia si è liberi di scegliere tra la privata e la libera che sono attaccati e anche lì il bar e molto funzionale il top e il fisch e Chips fatto con un baccalà fritto alla perfezione. Bellissima esperienza torneremo presto buona stagione 💪💪

Disliked: Unica nota negativa e la mancanza di un bancomat all'interno del campeggio farebbe comodo specialmente il venerdì sera quando ci sono le bancarelle che vendono prodotti fatti a mano e non hanno il pos

Liked: Restauracja - pycha jedzenie, dobre ceny i miła fachowa obsługa.
Sklep/Market - dobre ceny i świeże produkty z rana.
Plaża - jedna z niewielu w okolicy z dostępem dla psów. Duża, szeroka z parasolami i ratownikiem. Cieplutkie morze.

Disliked: Cykady - 12 godzin strasznego hałasu, od 9 do 21, non stop. Masakra
Pył i kurz - taka natura tego kampingu w lesie, ale wolę kampingu na trawniku.
Toalety - brak mydła czy papieru toaletowego, cześć kabin ma tylko dziurę w ziemi. Czystość na umiarkowanym poziomie. Całość już dość leciwa.

Liked: Schöner großer Stellplatz mit viel Schatten durch große Pinienbäume. Gutes Restaurant, zwei Bar´s auf der Anlage. Toller Abenteuerspielplatz. Pool sehr erfrischend. Das Meer ist bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Riesiger Strand, wild oder mit bezahlbare Liegen. Man findet immer ein Platz. Tägliches Abendprogramm bis 23:30 Uhr. Babydance, Unterhaltungsshow für Erwachsene und dann Teenydisco. Wer es mag, super! Man hat kein Stress die Kinder Abends ruhig zu halten weil viele Kinder lange unterwegs sind. Personal ist sehr kinderfreundlich und auch sonst sehr nett! Gelungene Abwechslung zum Strandalltag bringt auch der Hochseilgarten mit verschieden schwierigen Routen.

Disliked: Sanitäre Anlagen etwas alt. Auch wenn täglich geputzt wurde, sah es danach nicht viel besser aus. Oft zahlte man an den Bar´s teurere Preise wie die Artikel ausgezeichnet waren.

Liked: Unter Pinien gelegen, naturbelassen, schön und gut organisiert. Stellplätze groß und ausreichend.
Positiv waren die Wasser Auffüllstationen.
Die Mittagsruhe, dass Autos draußen parken mussten. Restaurant und Minimarkt vorhanden. Strand schön.

Disliked: Die Toiletten waren durch die jungen Mädchen der Feriencamps oft verschmutzt. Der Weg zum Meer war sehr weit und holprig. Hier müsste der Weg ausgebaut bzw. ausgebessert werden.
Das Wasser zum Abwaschen war sehr lauwarm und es gab nur eine Handvoll Warmwasser-Hähne. Die Grillen sind sehr laut und der Pool ist sehr klein, könnte ausgebaut und erneuert werden.
Internetverbindung über den Platz sehr schlecht.
Liegen für Camper kostenpflichtig.

Liked: Svegliarsi al mattino immersi nel verde è impagabile. I rumori della città scompaiono e gli occhi si riempiono di paesaggi naturali.
Molto cordiale anche lo staff che mi ha gentilmente prestato uno stendino per il bucato. Bar e ristorante interni al campeggio offrono un menù variegato, come il bar sulla spiaggia che si presta molto bene ad aperitivi e pranzi.
La mia attività preferita è il risveglio muscolare che lo staff animazione propone il mattino in riva al mare.

Disliked: La spiaggia è gestita dal campeggio ma trovo un po' oneroso il costo aggiuntivo che prevede.

Liked: Wunderschöner Camping Platz, schattig und 10min vom Meer in Traumhafter Pinienwaldkulisse.
Sehr hundefreundlich, Hundestrand , nette Bewohner, super Service und gutes kulinarisches Angebot.

Top gepflegt, unkomplizierte Verlängerung des Aufenthalts.

Auch für Familien mit kleinen Kindern bleiben keine Wünsche offen.

Disliked: Mülleimer nur am Eingang, was doch recht umständlich zum Entsorgen ist. Insbesondere Essensreste etc. Aber nachvollziehbar.

The site is 10 minutes' drive or 15 minutes by bus from Marina di Grosseto, famed for its wide beaches as well as its huge pine forest running from Punta Ala to the Uccellina Mountain. From here it's 12 kilometres to Grosseto, an ancient city with 16th-century walls, a 15th-century cathedral and the comely Palazzo Aldobrandeschi. Grosseto is the place to book excursions such as day trips to the islands of Elba or Giglio, the city of Siena, and Punta Ala, the popular seaside resort and frazione of Castiglione della Pescaia. Porto Santo Stefano and Porto Ercole are two stunning port towns about an hour's drive south of the site, on the Monte Argentario peninsula 35 kilometres from Grosseto.

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Dogs

Dogs must be kept on leashes and supervised at all times.
Guide dogs are allowed on site free of charge.
Your dog must be tattooed or microchipped.

Extras

Entertainment passes are included in the rate.
Motorcycle(s) can be brought instead of the car(s) included.

General

Discount cards and gift vouchers cannot be applied to bookings made via Pitchup.com.
