Ramona and Claudio are a couple on a mission – and that mission is to create a social enterprise that benefits the land, the local economy and the people that come to visit their splendid property in the south of Sardinia, about half an hour’s drive from Cagliari. The couple moved here after many years in corporate careers, and spent a couple of years regenerating the land and starting to shape the community they dreamed of. And now they’re ready to welcome guests along to join in with the experience at In Our Garden, staying among the olive groves and being part of various activities that will get you to the heart of this area. This is an agriturismo that’s got a lot to offer – guests can learn about organic permaculture techniques, discover the world of medicinal herbs or take a walk through the vineyards to sample the natural wines produced here. Cultural events and shared meals are frequently organised too, so it’s worth finding out what you can join in with while you’re here. That’s not to say you’ll need to be busy all the time (or at all) if you don’t fancy it – this 55-hectare property is a fabulous place simply to chill out and soak up the peaceful Sardinia countryside, perhaps taking a dip in the outdoor pool or spending a bit of time in the games room if you like. Bikes can be hired on site for an easy way to explore the local area or get down to the coast (about 2.5 kilometres away), and buses pass nearby if you’d like to spend the day in Cagliari.

Liked: Posto immerso completamente nella natura, infatti dimenticatevi il telefono (stupendo😍). Sicuramente da lavorarci su e migliorare ma comunque un posto fuori dal comune e da provare assolutamente, sembra un villaggio. A disposizione un sacco di servizi, piscina, sdraio, amaca, docce, lavatrice, una cucina con tutto a disposizione, un piccolo reparto dove acquistare i prodotti locali fatti dai proprietari. Ho adorato tutto, grazie infinite. Le tende semplicemente stupende. Noi non l’avevamo portata e Ramona la proprietaria ci ha dato a disposizione la tenda piu grande che abbia mai visto con dentro anche il letto matrimoniale, divanetti.. tutto stupendo.

Local attractions

Tearing yourself away from this gorgeous little patch of the world might be a bit tricky, but once you’ve spied the sea views on site you’ll no doubt be keen to get down to the coast and see it more closely. Capitana (10 minutes’ bike ride/five minutes’ drive) is your nearest seaside town, with a couple of nice beaches and a handful of historic landmarks to look out for. If you don’t mind going just a little further (half an hour’s cycle/15 minutes’ drive), you can get to Poetto, which has one of Sardinia’s longest and loveliest beaches. Kitesurfing and windsurfing are popular activities here, but there’s also plenty of space along the eight kilometres of sand for serviced beaches and quieter, less developed spots. A day trip to Cagliari (half an hour’s drive) is a fine idea too – the cathedral, Roman amphitheatre and Torre dell’Elefante are among the top sights, and it’s also worth browsing the local produce in Mercato di San Benedetto and taking a wander through the Castello district’s maze of streets.

Bookings cannot be amended within 3 day(s) of arrival.

Admission

Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Please pick any available site on arrival.

Extras

Motorcycle(s) can be brought instead of the car(s) included.

General

In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
Please note that the toilet/shower facilities are unisex.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behavior is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
The park is not liable for any refund in the event of force majeure.

Your unit must be left clean and tidy; a fine of €20.00 ($21.96) will be charged for unclean units upon departure.
