Settling down for a peaceful stay in Imperia's Nervia valley, among chestnuts, eucalyptus and mimosa trees, on a hillside site with spectacular views of the surrounding Alps… sound good? Bag a break at family-run Camping Delle Rose, just over the border from France in a quiet corner of Liguria. Run by Lorena, Mauro and their son Lorenzo, this park aims to give friendly welcomes to all, with attention and services carefully tailored to suit guests' individual needs. The family has added a summer pool and a paddling pool for dips on hot days, a sun terrace for basking at before and after, a playground for the kids, and a pétanque court popular for a spot of competition at the end of a sunny day. Overlooking the pools, the restaurant has regional food as its main focus, dishing up traditional dinners like pesto pasta, homegrown Taggiasche olives and rabbit ragu. Pizzas (always a topping option with the kids) are available from the woodfired oven. Delle Rose also has a bar serving cold drinks, cappuccinos and coffees, as well as a snacks such as sandwiches and quick bites.

Liked L'Accoglienza, pulizia dei bagni, l'area piscina e soprattutto il bagnino, Gabriele, che a seguito di una bruttissima caduta della mia bambina si è preso subito cura di lei e dopo più di mezz'ora di cure ha continuato a chiedere come stava e anche dopo il suo turno di lavoro

Disliked Bellissimo campeggio ma l'area camper dov'eravamo noi l'ho trovata un pò trascurata.

Liked La location è molto comoda e ben distribuita, i bagni sono il top, le aree di camping fornite di tutti i confort necessari. Vicino a rocchetta nervinia, particolare per il torrente dove far il bagno e rinfrescarsi, vicino al camping a piedi si possono visitare anche dei laghetti naturali.

Liked Accueil et renseignements excellents.
Emplacement spacieux pour un campervan de 6 mètre.
Propreté des toilettes et des sanitaires excellant.
Très bonnes pizzas

Disliked Pour la randonnée du sentier muletiers, partant du camping jusqu'à isolabona, des parties difficiles voir même dangereuses.
Devrait être signalé au début du sentier.
Prévoir une bonne paire de chaussures.
Éviter les enfants et les personnes avec difficultés physique.

Liked Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst, behulpzaam personeel, super lekkere pizza, mogelijkheden voor ontbijt, ter plaatse of afhaal. Ruime plaatsen, electriciteit en water bij bijna elke plek aansluiting.
Perfecte uitvalsbasis voor fietstochten

Disliked Het water van douche en afwas mocht zeker warmer zijn. 1 centrale douche-gebouw is eigenlijk te weinig voor het aantal mensen die er verblijven. Wi-fi is zeer zwak.

Liked Es hat uns in allem belangen sehr gut gefallen.

Disliked Meine Frau hatte nur einen Punkt zu bemängeln das erst der Frauen Waschraum kam und dann der Herren Bereich. Alle Männer die vorbei gingen "glotzten" rein.
Das der Strom noch zusätzlich bezahlt werden musste. Hätte man vorher schon auf der Rechnung sehen müssen meiner Meinung nach. WLAN muss ausgebaut werden!!!

Liked Ebener ruhiger Stellplatz mit grosszügiger Toilettenanlage. Abendessen kann man im Restaurant. Schönes Schwimmbad. Eine Dame im Service konnte fünf Sprachen sprechen.

Liked Friendly and helpful staff. Good facilities including pool, BBQ area, restaurant and bar.
Beautiful sight with the best toilet area I’ve seen in a campsite! Gardens and grounds are very well kept.
About a 20 minute walk to the village, which has good reasonably priced shops/restaurants and bars.
Thank you to you all for making our stay so good.

Route directions

On the A10, take exit signposted Ventimiglia and continue on the Aurelia Road. Drive through Ventimiglia, at the roundabout in Nervia follow signposts to Strada Provinciale 64. Go through the Isolabona village and continue for approximately 2km. The campsite is on the right. Please don't follow the signposts and ignore the SatNav.

Take your pick of beach, mountain and rural holidays: this peaceful Liguria area is also only about 10 kilometres from the coast, in Italian countryside dotted with medieval villages and fortified towns, castles and churches, busy local food markets and local cafés and small restaurants. The site is also 12 miles from San Remo, a popular place on the Italian Riviera famed for its summer flower markets, the Milan–San Remo cycling classic and the Sanremo Music Festival, the singing competition that inspired the Eurovision Song Contest (whether that's a fab or a naff thing depends on your own individual taste…). Around the site's local municipality of Isolabona, hike the Passo del Cane mountain pass three kilometres away or tackle the peak of Monte Bignone, near San Remo in the San Romolo Natural Park. Coastal spots include Capo Mortola, Capo Verde, Cap Martin and Cap Rognoso; Monaco, Monte Carlo and the French Riviera are under 30 kilometres away.
