- Eco-friendly glamping site in the Ligurian Alps; breakfast included
- Access to Pizzo d’Evigno (Monte Torre) paths; Imperia 25 mins' drive
- Outdoor pool and barbecue area with mountain views
There are fabulous mountain views all around at Tendù Experience – and that’s because this gorgeous glamping site is surrounded by the Ligurian Alps. That means you’ll be able to soak up the scenery from every corner of this eco-friendly site, whether you’re relaxing by your unit, hanging out by the pool or cooking dinner at the barbecue area.
This is a very green Liguria location – and it’s a handy one for outings too, as there are plenty of footpaths nearby for hikes, including the stunning route to the summit of Pizzo d’Evigno (Monte Torre). There are a few mountain towns and villages a short drive away from the site, including Pieve di Teco and Borgomaro (both a 25-minute drive). Pontedassio, 20 minutes’ drive away, is a nice spot to pick up groceries, or you could continue on to hit the coast at Imperia (25 minutes).
For swimming closer to home, there’s an outdoor pool on site, and a lake a short walk away – swimming here isn’t always guaranteed (ask on site for the latest situation) but there’s a nice shady area there for a picnic if not.
As for meals on site, breakfast is included in your rate, and there’s a barbecue area where you can cook up tasty dinners later on. Your welcome basket includes glasses, goblets and a bottle opener so you may like to crack open a bottle of local wine to go with your meal.
Glamping units here all have a soft French bed (with linen and duvet provided), a power bank and a torch. Your private outdoor space has deckchairs and a covered table for cosy evenings in the fresh air.

Local attractions
This is a laidback area where the outings are likely to be fairly leisurely – you may like to visit the local winery (15 minutes’ drive) for a tasting, take a wander around the scenic villages of Pieve di Teco and Borgomaro (both 25 minutes) or head to the Laghetti Lecchiore (an hour) for waterfalls and swimming holes.
A favourite attraction around here is Villa Grock (half an hour), the former home of the Swiss clown/entertainer Grock, dubbed ‘King of Clowns’. It’s an eccentric and eclectic place with colourful interiors and wonderfully decorative gardens to explore.
Villa Grock is a little way outside Imperia (25 minutes), so you might like to combine the two for a full day trip – the city is home to several museums, including the Museo dell’Olivo, and a colourful harbour. There are also a couple of beach areas, and you can join scuba diving or snorkelling trips here too.
