Camping Onlycamp des Adoubes

Liked The site was nicely laid out with plenty space and very flat. It was also within easy walking distance of Albertville town centre and it's shop and restaurants.

The staff were very welcoming, but oddly asked if we were really staying 2 nights and wondered if we did want to try their other sites.

Disliked The site is right between 2 busy roads. You can't see them, but you can hear them - especially during the day. The site is also a little tired and needs some tlc. The showers weren't that great - or maybe we'd been spoilt at other sites.

Finally, just after we arrived the site was overrun by a very large group of travellers. They were actually fine, but they virtually took over the site.

Liked We arrived quite late and not as described, there are two main roads running either side of the site and a footpath as well, very noisy. The facilities were clean though and good value for money.

Liked We stayed here as a stopover point. Campsite is well maintained and staff are friendly. Facilities were clean and pitches were a good size. The mediaeval town at the top of the hill was pretty but Albertville didn’t have much to offer!

Liked Clean, friendly, laid back, quiet, not full to capacity.
Walking distance to old town quarter which was very good. Walking distance to town. Bars shopping etc.

Disliked Leaving.

Liked Das Personal war sehr freundlich und die Unterkunft war sauber.

Disliked Das einzige was etwas gestört hat, war die Straße neben dem Campingplatz auf der bis in die Nacht hinein und sehr früh morgens noch Autos und Motorräder gefahren sind. Mit guten Ohrenstöpsel lässt sich das aber regeln.

Liked The position is excellent - a quick walk into Dienville and right by a beautiful river.
The campsite itself is beautiful - lovely views of the surrounding mountains.
The campsite was quiet and peaceful.
It had a washing machine.

Disliked Small shower cubicles.
Only access to water was by shower block - would have been useful to have further access at other end of the campsite.

Liked It was very clean and with lots of facilities: Table tennis, calisthenic park, cleaning station for dogs, for your feet, and "big equipment"(like surf boards).

The location is 10 min walk from the beach.

The staff is very very friendly.

Disliked Lots of mosquitoes in August due to a close-by field, but with a burning spiral for the outside time it was very good.
