Les Mille et une Yourtes is three kilometres from the town of Biol in the Isère department of the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region, 50 kilometres from the department capital Grenoble. The sunny squares, cafés and historical quarters of Chambéry and Lyon are less than an hour's drive away.
Each of the site's traditional Mongolian yurts is well heated and comes kitted out with comfortable bedding and has its own private terrace for alfresco dining.
There's a restaurant on site as well as a covered barbecue/kitchen, pétanque courts, an outdoor pool, wifi and a play area. The site's modern, spacious and fully accessible washrooms have underfloor heating.
There are plenty of options for days out in the Isère department around Les Mille et une Yourtes, from discovering the surrounding villages by bike to visiting ski resorts. Theme parks; mountain biking, fishing, climbing, watersports, hang gliding and paragliding are also within easy reach of the site.
