Sophie and Jean-Paul welcome you in their friendly and family orientated campsite. The campsite is situated 3 kilometres from Apremont, in the calm and quiet countryside of the Vendée region. You have at your disposal a heated and covered pool which includes a mini-spa area with a jacuzzi and a sauna. Various other services are on offer such as WiFi, fresh bread and croissants ordering service, a snack-bar, a grocery, take-away dishes, stamps and postcards, a picnic area with barbecues, microwaves and a laundry area with ironing facilities. You will find many activities on offer during your stay: local games, bingo, footballs, tennis table, boules and walks. There are no animations in the late evenings. The camping les Charmes offers pitches for tents, caravans and holiday homes.

Route directions

From Roche sur Yon, follow directions to Noirmoutier / Challans. At Azenay, keep going for 7km. Do not follow directions to Apremont on the right but continue towards Challans. After the wind farm, turn left towards Commequiers. Drive for 3km then turn right. The Camping Les Charmes is then signposted. The campsite is 500 metres on the right by the side of the road. From Challans, follow Roche Sur Yon. Do not follow Commequiers at St Christophe Du Ligneron, but keep going and turn right just before the wind farm. Drive for 3km then turn right. The Camping Les Charmes is then signposted. The campsite is 500 metres on the right by the side of the road. From Apremont, follow directions to Challans. After the garage on your left, take the first road on your right at the bend of the road. Drive for 3km on a small road. The campsite is on your left, well hidden by trees. From Mache, follow directions to Apremont and turn left by the water tower. At the stop, turn right and drive for 3km on a small road. The campsite is on your left, well hidden by trees.

Local attractions

Not far from the campsite, about 1h away, you can access the famous Puy du Fou attraction park. You have also access to the famous Vendée beaches of Saint Gilles Croix de Vie, Saint Jean de Monts, Brétignolles sur Mer, Brem sur Mer and les Sables d'Olonne - most of them only a 20-minute drive away. Le Gois is the only place in the world where the ocean covers the road and you can fish. There are also the island of Noirmoutier, the cycling trail of Commequiers, the adventure park le Grand Défi and paintball in Saint Julien des Landes. There are also numerous castles, windmills, zoos, museums, gardens, aquatic parks, tree-top adventures, abbeys and karting centres.
