Local attractions

The old town of Uzerche, around 15 minutes' drive away, has been nicknamed the pearl of the Limousin: once you arrive here, you'll see why, and why Limousin nobility throughout the centuries have had their houses here. Make your first port of call the Uzerche tourist office for a map of the town showing the many monuments and buildings to see, such as the 12th-century Church of Saint-Pierre with a medieval garden, the 14th-century Prince Noir tower, and the 17th-century Maison Boyer Chammard, overlooking the river. (If all this bores the kids, get them to spot how many turrets and fairylike stoneworks they can see on a wander round). Back at base, Camping Moulin de la Geneste is on a country road connecting two villages: Condat-sur-Ganaveix two kilometres away and Eyburie within three. Canoeing, kayaking and cycling further afield are also top picks around here: ask on site for more info.

Booking terms and conditions

Admission

All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.

Dogs

Dogs must be kept on leashes and supervised at all times.
Guide dogs are allowed on site free of charge.
The campground/park does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Breed-specific legislation (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.

Motorcycle(s) can be brought instead of the car(s) included.

General

Discount cards and gift vouchers cannot be applied to bookings made via Pitchup.com.
In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
Quiet hours must be respected between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m..
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and trunks must be closed quietly.
The grocery shop is open between 04/25 and 11/02.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behavior is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
This campground/park does have a catch-and-return fishing policy in place.
