It's free, quick and easy!
- Peaceful friendly site a few kilometres away from the Ardèche gorges
- Pool and paddling pool, crazy golf and summer cinema nights
- Snack bar and restaurant with takeaway; mini golf
If you've never been to les spectacular gorges of the Ardèche, book a trip there forthwith, for they're fab. And if you want to pitch up a paltry few kilometres away, book yourself into Camping La Buissière to have easy access to the gorges' activities and ancient sites (spoiler alert: the Roman aqueduct is really rather something).
La Buissière is run by Cedric and Amelia, who’ve made it their mission to set up this colourful and well-maintained site so all guests can have a splendid stay: they arrange cinema nights in summer, and have added a pool and a paddling pool, a crazy golf course, an internet kiosk, ping pong tables and a pétanque court. The amenities block is accessible to guests with disabilities.
The site also has a snack bar and restaurant with takeaway food and pizza, and bread delivery, arriving freshly baked every day.

Local attractions
Get prepped for long and active days: within a 15-kilometre radius of Camping La Buissière you can pick from fishing, cycling, hiking, horse riding, quad biking, kayaking, go-karting, climbing, canyoning, rafting or – a tiptop choice – paragliding.
That spoiler alert Roman aqueduct nearby is the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Pont du Gard, vastly spanning the Gardon river as part of a 50-kilometre system that ran water from a spring at Uzès to the Roman settlement of Nîmes. It's been a tourist attraction for centuries and is one of France's most visited destinations: do go see.
A bridge of the natural kind and also a nearby must-see the Pont D'Arc, the 54-metre-high stone arch leading into the Ardèche canyons; another UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Chauvet-Pont-d'Arc Cave is nearby, listed so because of its detailed and well-preserved cave paintings.
Nearby Nîmes is a topping option for a day trip for those into French history, or (and?) you could also take a trek to the medieval village and fab canyon views of Aiguèze, the first place in the Gard to be listed as one of Les Plus Beaux Villages de France.
