Liked Lovely friendly owners, nothing too much trouble after we were badly delayed due to the 2025 wild fire, which stopped the whole of the A9 up from Spain and down from Beziers. Great location, decent pitches and facilities, and perfect for exploring Carcassonne.

Disliked Nothing, shame we only had one night here.

Liked The owners were really friendly and welcoming. They ran a friendly bar/snack bar and personally delivered bread in the morning.
The wash block was large and clean with a large laundry and dishwashing area too.

Local attractions

A château visit is almost obligatory around here: perhaps to the remains of Château de Saissac (15 minutes’ drive), or to the Châteaux de Lastours (half an hour), where no fewer than four castles peer down on the village from their hilltop setting. And for those with something of an interest in their vino, surely a stop at one (or all) of the area’s wineries must also be on the cards – there are several within a 20-minute drive, so take your pick. Got the kids in tow? Perhaps dial down on the wine-based tourism and instead aim for the antipodean animal park Le Parc Australien (half an hour) or underground exploration at the Gouffre de Cabrespine (45 minutes). If you only make it to one day out around here though, it really should be to Carcassonne (20 minutes), famed for its fairytale-like hilltop medieval citadel and 12th-century castle and a fine place to board boat trips on the Canal du Midi.

Bookings cannot be amended within 7 day(s) of arrival.

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.
At least one of the party members must be aged 18 or over.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
The park will send you further check-in information 7 day(s) before your arrival.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Dogs

A valid vaccination certificate must accompany your dog.
Dogs must be kept on leashes and supervised at all times.
The campground/park does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Breed-specific legislation (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.
Your dog must be tattooed or microchipped.

General

Bookings are nominative and non-transferable.
Discount cards and gift vouchers cannot be applied to bookings made via Pitchup.com.
Entertainment and activities are available between 07/15 and 08/15.
In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
Please note that the toilet/shower facilities are unisex.
Quiet hours must be respected between 10:30 p.m. and 7:30 a.m..
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and trunks must be closed quietly.
Refunds within the indicated cancelation period are only possible if the park is able to relet your unit/site.
The bar is open between 04/20 and 10/19.
The games room is open between 04/20 and 10/19.
The grocery shop is open between 04/20 and 10/19.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behavior is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.

Hired accommodation

Your unit must be left clean and tidy; a fine of €80.00 ($92.71) will be charged for unclean units upon departure.

Occupancy

Group bookings of 6 or more adults are not permitted (couples and immediate family members excepted).
No bachelor/bachelorette parties permitted via Pitchup.com.
Single-sex bookings of 6 or more people (couples and immediate family members excepted) are not permitted via Pitchup.com.

Reception

If reception is closed on arrival: please contact the number provided on your booking confirmation.
Reception is closed from noon to 2 p.m.. No arrivals are permitted between these times.
Reception is open from 8:30 a.m. to noon and from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. between 04/20 and 10/19.
Reception is unmanned after 7 p.m.. Please inform the park while on your way there should you expect to arrive after this time so that the team can provide information about your unit/site.

Safety

Firearms are not permitted.
Fires, barbecues and/or firepits will not be permitted in dry, windy and/or hot weather conditions.
No charcoal barbecues allowed.
No gas barbecues allowed.
Open fires are prohibited.

Sites

Units should not be left unoccupied unless previously agreed with the management. Please speak to reception when the need arises, a fee may be charged for unsupervised units.
You must follow management instructions when setting up your tent/rig and related equipment.

Vehicles

No vehicle movement between 10:30 p.m. and 7:30 a.m..
Only one car is to be parked at the site. Extra vehicles must be parked in the designated area.
The charging of electric vehicles is not permitted on site.
Twin axle vehicles are not permitted on site.
Units longer than 10 metres are not allowed.

Visitors

Visitors’ cars are not permitted on site.
Visitors must leave the premises by 10:30 p.m..
