Local attractions

The seaside resort of Granville (45 minutes’ drive) is the birthplace of fashion designer Christian Dior, and his childhood home – a pink mansion overlooking the sea – is now a museum displaying some of his elegant creations. Peacocks and ducks roam around the Parc du Val ès Fleurs on the outskirts of town. Mont Saint-Michel (50 minutes) is a world-famous tidal island topped by a mighty abbey with slender Gothic spires. A long footbridge makes it possible to reach the island regardless of the tides these days, and when you get there you can explore the medieval village, with its defensive towers and museums. Caen (an hour) has a lively town centre spreading around an 11th-century castle built by William the Conqueror. Check out the exhibits at the Musée de Normandie or visit the Botanical Garden, with its large greenhouse.

Admission

Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Please pick any available site on arrival.

Dogs

Dogs must be kept on leashes and supervised at all times.
The campground/park does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Breed-specific legislation (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.

Motorcycle(s) can be brought instead of the car(s) included.

General

Bookings are nominative and non-transferable.
Discount cards and gift vouchers cannot be applied to bookings made via Pitchup.com.
In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
Please note that the toilet/shower facilities are unisex.
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and trunks must be closed quietly.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behavior is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
The park is not liable for any refund in the event of force majeure.

No bachelor/bachelorette parties permitted via Pitchup.com.

Safety

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.
Firearms are not permitted.
Fires, barbecues and/or firepits will not be permitted in dry, windy and/or hot weather conditions.
Guests are advised to bring a good quality flashlight with them as parts of the park are unlit.
Open fires are prohibited.
Please do not touch or feed the animals.
