The camping Pré des Laveuse is in the heart of the Auvergne region, 15 mins away from the towns of Clermont-Ferrand and Cournon-d’Auvergne, the second biggest city in the Puy-de-Dôme département. It lies by a long volcano chain and the banks of the Allier river. This old wine-growing village which the campsite is in, offers all the advantages of being in an urban space and all those of a rural setting too. Located towards the east of the town, between the river Allier and a natural lake, Camping Le Pré des Laveuses is spread over five hectares. It has a heated swimming pool as well as a paddling pool and a waterslide. The aquatic play area is suitable for disabled people too. There is a range of other facilities at your disposal such as a mini golf, tennis courts, laundrette, TV room, free wifi, pétanque area and tourist information desk. The bar/restaurant is open every day and has a large shady terrace with a magnificent view on the artificial lake. It is a great spot to have a tasty break for lunch or dinner.
