Liked Loved the pool and the slide. Nice spacious pitch in a lovely location. Our kids made nice friends to play with.

Disliked The toilets and showers were a bit tired and showers not so hot but generally good.

Liked We had a lovely last minute 11 night stay. Pool was lovely well kept and facilities clean and nothing was too much trouble

Disliked Its not the campsites fault but just be prepared for mosquitos with repellent etc

Liked Warm welcome when booking in, was given treat bags for both of our dogs. Large, level pitches, clean toilets and showers. Pool looked great but was super busy, the water slide was a definite hit with the kids.

Disliked Our pitch was tricky to get into due to low tree branches.

Powered grass campsite

Liked A lovely little site . Well out of season being early December we were the only motorhome there. This was fortunate as the pitches were grass but the super friendly owner let us park on the hard lane. Excellent facilities , powerful wifi and a super little bar complete with log burner , TV and lovely dog . The countryside was beautiful and reminded us of our home in Yorkshire , great cycling .

Local attractions

Camping des Bastides is in an area of hiking, cycling, canoeing, horse riding, and – c'est France – a place full of tasty treats in food and wine. Castle fans have a few good options in the area: a couple of kilometres from base there's Château de Gavaudun, a 13th-century castle on a hill overlooking Gavaudun village; Château de Biron, also in the valley of the Lède, is about 10 kilometres away, and Monflanquin, Gavaudun and Bonaguil castles are all within easy driving distance. Heritage hunters should also check out nearby Montpazier, one of Les Plus Beaux Villages de France; the handsome old village of Villeréal; the town of Fumel, and the (a must) cave of Domme, a spectacular network of four caves underneath Domme village. Pour les enfants, Parc en Ciel is nearby for treetop adventures, and Walibi Aquitaine theme park is about 60 kilometres away near Agen.

Admission

All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Dogs

A valid vaccination certificate must accompany your dog.
Guide dogs are allowed on site free of charge.
The campground/park does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Breed-specific legislation (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.
Your dog must be tattooed or microchipped.

General

Entertainment and activities are available between 07/01 and 08/31.
In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and trunks must be closed quietly.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behavior is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.

Hired accommodation

Your unit must be left clean and tidy; a fine of €50.00 ($52.67) will be charged for unclean units upon departure.

Occupancy

No bachelor/bachelorette parties permitted via Pitchup.com.

Pool

The outdoor swimming pool is open between 06/01 and 09/30 (subject to weather conditions).

Safety

Firearms are not permitted.
Open fires are prohibited.

Sites

Units should not be left unoccupied unless previously agreed with the management. Please speak to reception when the need arises, a fee may be charged for unsupervised units.
You must follow management instructions when setting up your tent/rig and related equipment.

Vehicles

Only one car is to be parked at the site. Extra vehicles must be parked in the designated area.
The car is only included in the rate if you are traveling with a camper, trailer tent or tent. Cars are not permitted when traveling with a motorhome/RV.
Twin axle vehicles are not permitted on site.
