This swanky park in Croatia, with a sumptuous seafood restaurant facing the water, is right on the bright blue Adriatic for decadent days in Dalmatia. Everyday life stops here, according to the owners, and with such swish amenities to settle into it’s highly likely you’ll agree…
The eatery is one of the park’s top draws – this family-run spot has served up smashing homemade meals for 25 years. Another highlight is the private patio that comes with each bell tent, looking out across the water and shrouded by 350-year-old olive trees.
The quality service goes hand-in-hand with the swish amenities at this site and starts on arrival: guests are greeted with a cocktail in the lounge bar which has – you guessed it – views of the sea. Breakfast is served every morning in the restaurant for glampers.
The island is only accessible by water, so the journey here is as scenic as the destination, and jumping into a vessel for ventures further afield is highly recommended for sailing to some of the 89 islands in the Kornati archipelago. Žut measures 15 square kilometres and is a couple of kilometres wide, so it’s easy to navigate by foot or bike.
Power and water-supplied moorings are available on site for those bringing boats, and visitors arriving by car can leave their vehicle in Zadar, Biograd na Moru or Murter, the closest locations for accessing the island. The park organises free transfers from Murter.
Gastro Glamping Fešta has a small waterpark for kids and bell tent guests have access to a luxurious communal bathroom.

Žut is in the Kornati archipelago, set between the island of Pašman on one side – which is connected to the mainland by a boat heading to Ugljan – and the island of Kornat on the other.
Exploring by vessel is fab here – make sure to stop off at neighbouring islands like Sali to learn about the age-old fishing traditions and the nearby Telašćica nature park to see the steep white 162-metre-high cliffs. Keep an eye out for bottlenose dolphins while around here – they tend to gather in this wildlife-rich area.
It’s best to beach hop on Žut by boat too, swinging by secluded bays like Hiljača, Sarušćica and Bizikovica for sun-soaked days dipping in and out of the Adriatic.
