- Quiet site just off a main road 20 kilometres from central Montreal
- Close to golf, horse riding and bike path as well as city attractions
- Swimming pool, miniature golf, canteen and entertainment programme
Camping Joie de Vivre is a quiet site close to the river Acadia, 20 kilometres from the centre of Montreal. A main road with bus route passes directly outside for easy access to the city centre, while in the other direction a bike path leads to the Chambly Canal.
There's plenty to do in the local area, and it's easy to fill your time with both city attractions such as museums or churches and more rural pursuits – perhaps golf, horse riding, kayaking or indeed wine tasting.
Among the facilities at Camping Joie de Vivre are a saltwater swimming pool, pétanque court, miniature golf, volleyball court, basketball net, games pavilion, playground, wifi and a canteen with outdoor terrace. There's also a programme of evening entertainment on site, including weekly bingo and themed meals in high season.
Other amenities include a launderette, a washing-up area and a toilet/shower block with hot showers, baby bathroom and accessible facilities.
