Sitting in attractive countryside overlooking the calm waters of Rama Lake, Tune Camp is 15 minutes’ drive from the sleepy town of Prozor-Rama in scenic Herzegovina-Neretva. This peaceful spot is set up with grass pitches, all of which have a handy electric hook-up as well as lovely views over the lake. Here you can spend your days lazing in the sun, hiking in the foothills or walking (with your dogs, if you've brought them) in the surrounding woodland. Head down to Rama Lake for fishing, swimming, kayaking and paddleboarding – you can also hire a wooden raft from the site owners for an expedition around the shoreline. If all that activity builds up an appetite, grill up a barbecue feast at the shared alfresco mini-kitchen, and eat while taking in the far-reaching views over Rama to the mountain peaks beyond. Get the time right in early evening and you’ll be rewarded with a colourful sunset as well. You can shop for essentials in local shops or dine out in several traditional restaurants, all within 10 minutes’ drive. On site, all the essentials are covered too, with practical facilities including electricity, drinking water and modern shower blocks.

Powered grass campsite

Liked Warm welcome by the owners Ivan’s father shown around welcome with a beer , beautiful setting Ivan came in the evening to ensure we were ok planned 1 night but stayed 2 free use of washing machine and paddle board fantastic outside kitchen with use of large fridge and BBQ , also moored jetty to use 2 toilets and 2showers enough for the size of the site

Disliked Nothing was fantastic suited our needs quiet site .

Local attractions

Tune Camp sits on the spindly Šćit Peninsula, surrounded by the waters of Rama Lake; explore the spit on foot and your first stop will probably be the historic Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary (20 minutes’ walk), with colourful mosaics in its white-marble interior and contemporary sculptures in the gardens of the neighbouring monastery. There’s more local heritage to be found at Nekropola Stećaka Ravanjska Vrata (half an hour’ drive), a UNESCO-listed site dotted with ornately carved stone tombstones and monuments. If it’s action you’re after rather than culture, trek the wooden boardwalk up to Zdrimci Waterfall (40 minutes) through its narrow canyon. For simply spectacular vistas over Rama Lake, head up to Viewpoint Zahum - Ramsko Jezero (25 minutes) to see the islets scattered in its waters. You could also stop off at Vidikovac Draševo (15 minutes) for glorious glimpses over the lake’s intricate shoreline to snow-capped peaks in the distance.
