What customers say
Guests rave about gorgeous views, roomy level spots, and helpful staff. The bar & friterie are a hit, great value! Facilities are clean, basic, but some wanted TP & better shower temps. Peaceful, rural setting is a plus. Perfect for stopovers.

Power optional cement/asphalt and grass campsite
Liked The quiet surroundings, ideal for a bike ride. Large pitch to suit our caravan. Friendly staff.
Disliked The showers were a bit up and down temperature wise but still useable.

Power optional grass campsite
Liked I stayed here for one night with my dog and I was not disappointed, very friendly staff and residents. Clean toilets/showers and generous sized pitch. Nothing to complain about

Power optional grass campsite
Liked Great friendly welcome on arrival , a good choice of large pitches . Great little bar serving local bottled beers , nice seating terrace , only stayed one night but a really great camping stop off for bikers travelling through Northern Europe.. would definitely use this site again .

A good distance either coming from or going to Tunnel or ferry’s.
Power optional grass campsite
Liked Informality. Host speaks good English. Reasonable price. Pitches mostly quite level. Quiet and very little traffic noise. Toilet area is adequate.
Don’t wait to pitch your camper or tent if the office is not attended as the gentleman is not punctual but when he comes he will visit your pitch.
Disliked Not campsite’s fault but smokers in outdoor area of restaurant deterrent from eating there when too nice weather to eat inside.

From the manager: hello,
thank you for your judicious advice/suggestion about smokers on the terras of the bar ;
we ll change that ASAP ! making a zone outsite and far enough from the zone of eating !
thank you again !

Great potential if they tidy up a bit & get new, clean toilet blocks.
Power optional cement/asphalt and grass campsite
Liked The site was in a great location, surrounded by peaceful countryside but also near to towns and cities. I had a very friendly welcome by the man in reception.
Disliked The toilets really smelled - it was like someone had left a gone off cheese in there. Every time we went in we felt like vomiting. There was a mat which was covered with a cloth - I wonder if this was what smelled. My partner couldn't have a shower due to the smell. I braved it but wish I hadn't.
The 'friterie' and bar was OK but the man serving was very grumpy and we had to pay extra just for some tomato ketchup to go with our chips!

From the manager: thank you for this super comment !
you were situated on the top of the campsite and absolutly on the most beautiful part of the campsite ; most of the time , reserved specily for young people , lovers , Naturelovers and groups ...
you came on 23th August and precisly on that day , there were 3 big groups ;
we always have "difficulties" when groups are coming because they considere the toilets/showers like rubbish and we are obliged to clean it several times a day ... we can not ask to our toiletcleanlady staying there permanently ...
therefor , we generaly ask to the other customers (like you) to walk a little bit more and go to the WC/shower down in the campsite ...they are 2 others blocks down ...
sorry again, but very difficult to manage the groups , and we can not put camera's in the toilet ...!
Un camping agréable, calme. Petits pains…

Friendly welcoming quiet clean campsite with great pitches.
Power optional grass campsite
Liked We arrived and were able to choose our own pitch as the site was quiet.
Generous flat pitches surrounded by low hedges.
Facilities very clean and well organised. Little bar on camp with good food and drinks. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming.
Kids really enjoyed the play park.
We only stayed 2 nights but highly recommend a day in Dinant as it was amazing, great food and drink options and so much to do including cable car to the fort and a boat ride. A very beautiful hidden gem of a campsite and nearby city. You must go!
Disliked Nothing

Power optional grass campsite
Liked Location was good, near the highway and nice views. Toilet and shower facilities were clean but no soap or toilet paper.
Disliked The camp ground sloped and there was a lot of noise from the neighbouring buildings late into the night. The cafe was very expensive for cheap quality food and the bar tender was very rude, not customer focussed. Small portion of fries and 5 chicken nuggets, €22!
For the price of the campsite, €24/night, it was not good.

From the manager: dear sir ,
I answer point per point :
- noise of the neighbouring : the only neighbouring of the campsite is a farmer , just at the intrance of the village ; twice a year , he cans make some noice with his work at the farm ... it cans happen and it is normal in a rural village ... our policy in the campsite : you can choose a pitch by yourself , why did you go near the farm if you do not support any noice ?
- cafe expensive ? : you exactly order : 2 waters to take away (2 x 1.2 €) , 2 Houppes (local beer of Namur) (2 x 5.6 €) , 1 nugget kip ( 4 €) , 1 small chips (3.5 €) , 1 ketchup (1 €) , total : 22.10 € ; those are normal prices for food in campings in Belgium ; the quality is the quality of Friture ; if you wanted beter , you had to order others , like angus beef , with vegetables from the garden of the campsite , and absolutly not expansive ...!
- the Barman is not rude at all and has to look everywhere in the bar for content everybody and look at the maintenance and everything ; he is very kind with everybody but has a lot of work and only outside season has the possibility to talk with the customers ... in high season, we are (all the personnal) , like automates ... a lot of work, less sleeping and less talking ...!
- endly : 24 €/night = 22 € + 2 euros taxes , 1 pers with your vehicule, tent or caravan or camper, 1 night and you can choose your pitch by yourself , try to find cheaper ....!
- sub endly : no soap , no toilet rol in campings in Belgium! but we always have it to buy !
