What customers say
Great campsite, steps from a beautiful beach! Staff are friendly & helpful. Clean facilities, pizza van & pub on-site. Some find it crowded/noisy & showers/pizzas pricey. Good vibe, close to the sea.

Disliked Toilets were a bit of a horror story when I went in, turds like king kongs finger in every bowl 🤢

From the manager: Hi There,
Thanks for your review. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed your stay overall.
With the facilities, our toilets and showers are deep cleaned daily and checked regularly throughout the day. On especially busy weekends, they can get untidy quickly between cleans, but our team works hard to stay on top of it. Sorry to hear they weren’t at their best when you visited.

Primitive grass campsite
Liked Easy booking, good price, close to beach and coastal path.
Bistro - bacon rolls were really good.
Disliked The showers were terrible and since you have to take cash to pay for showers you would expect them to be in very good condition. Very poor water pressure, took ages for the temperature to adjust - either scalding hot or too cold, some shower fittings broken e.g the holder for the shower head was head up with a hair bobble. We took a 10 month old baby and there were no facilities for baby changing or baby bathing e.g a family shower.
Some areas near the toilet block flooded after rain and became quite boggy.
No sea view due to pebble bank. The road next to the campsite is quite busy and noisy.

From the manager: Hi There,
Thanks for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We’re really pleased you found the booking process straightforward, enjoyed the value, and liked being so close to the beach and coastal path. Great to hear you enjoyed the bistro too!
We’re sorry the showers didn’t meet expectations on this occasion — we will definitely take a look at the shower fittings to make sure they’re kept in good condition. The pressure, however can sometimes depend on the demand on the water system and when there is a lot of usage simultaneously this inevitably has an effect on the pressures. The small charge is in place to help reduce queues and ensure they stay clean.
We understand it can be tricky for families with babies when there aren’t designated facilities and we’ll keep this in mind as the site develops, though space is limited.
The pebble bank does mean there isn’t a sea view directly from the site, but it plays an important role in protecting the campsite from tides. We’d recommend heading just across the road for some of the best sunsets you’ll ever see.
Thanks for your comments

Liked The campsite was clean and well located with the beach literally across the road. The staff at reception and at the bar were friendly and helpful. The facilities were great and staff were always in cleaning end ensuring that they were resourced. One of the things that stood out for me was the level of security and control, in the evenings, staff patrolled to ensure that everyone was safe and happy.

Liked 🌊 Newgale Campsite Review
Just returned from a brilliant two-day stay at Newgale Campsite and I’m already planning my next visit. The location is absolutely stunning—right across from the beach with breathtaking sunsets and sea views. Despite it being a busy bank holiday weekend, the site was impressively well spaced out, offering a peaceful and relaxed vibe.
The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to help, making the whole experience feel welcoming from the start. Facilities were spotless throughout my stay, which really added to the comfort. Exceptional value for money.
Highly recommend this absolute gem of a campsite. Whether you’re into surfing, relaxing by the sea, or just want a clean, friendly base to explore Pembrokeshire—Newgale ticks all the boxes. 🏕️✨
Disliked Everything was perfect! 👌
