  • Peaceful adults-only site with views of St Brides Bay
  • A five-minute drive from Nolton Haven beach and Newgale beach
  • Daytime access to the site’s eight-acre gardens, woods and ponds
Look alert - surf’s up at Hilton Court Campsite, five minutes’ drive from Nolton Haven beach and Newgale beach on the Pembrokeshire coast (these are two excellent, sandy surfing beaches, take note). Overlooking St Brides Bay, the adults-only site is peaceful and permits over-16s only. As an added bonus, guests here have daytime access to the site’s eight acres of private gardens, woodlands and ponds. Being based in the middle of the Pembrokeshire National Park has many perks. It’s an easy two-step over to Britain’s smallest city, St Davids (20 minutes’ drive), or Solva (15 minutes), where you might spend your afternoons unwinding by the harbour or following the paths up to The Gribbin. Hilton Court Campsite is in an open grassy area in wild hedgerow, tucked into the trees, bushes and wildflowers. From the deck, admire the sea and watch the sun’s daily dash behind the islands. You may be feeling rather ready for a snooze after swimming or boating at Nolton Haven Beach or taking a kitesurfing lesson at Newgale Beach. If so, freshen up using the shower and luxury toilet facilities before retiring for the day. If you’d like to eat out or pick up supplies for bedtime snacks, Haverfordwest is 15 minutes’ drive away.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite

Liked We liked the location of the campsite as there was nice little walks close by and only a 5 minute drive to the beach, which felt like 2 minutes. The beach was a lovely beach. The toilet facilities in Hilton court campsite were fabulous. They were a great size and always kept to a very clean standard, by far the best facilities I’ve ever used on a campsite. We would definitely come back here.

Power optional grass travel trailer campsite

Liked Very nice quiet site well situated for visiting Broadhaven, Newgale, Solva and St David's.
The hosts were very welcoming and helpful showing where all the facilities were.
The toilet and shower block were immaculate and modern and were kept squeaky clean.
The pitches were level with planting around to give a feel of privacy.
The gardens were beautiful with lovely little buildings to discover and plenty of seats to take a rest or just enjoy the views.
Would definitely return there.
Thanks for a relaxing stay.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite

Liked Wonderful little gem of a campsite. It was a beautiful campsite on large, stunning grounds which it was a pleasure to explore this morning. They had very well kept facilities that were clean and tidy.

Disliked British weather. 😂 no complaints

From the manager: So glad you enjoyed your stay despite the awful Weather. Not sure we’ve had much of a summer this year.

Power optional grass travel trailer campsite

Liked Very peaceful site. The owners are very friendly and exceptionally helpful. Facilites are very high class and always clean with plenty of hot water for a shower. Have a walk in the gardens and you wil be amazed. Lakes, woodland, a tropical dome and quirky little buildings dotted around. What's not to like about this place apart from leaving.

Disliked Nothing.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite

Liked Seclusion. Site hedged for shelter & attractive area. Very clean facilities with superb free hot showers. Amazing Gardens generally closed to public now; but open to campers. Made welcome with help at hand if required.
Worth returning too. NO children but dogs welcome.

Disliked The shop/cafe is now permanently closed. No food available from the farm but The Victoria on the main road at Roch has excellent food BUT must book as very busy all the time. Own Brewerys ales. Take a way food is possible.

From the manager: Thanks for the review and Glad you enjoyed the gardens. When we had the shop and cafe the gardens were also open to the public so it would have been a lot busier with people so we like it just with campers as a lot quieter. The farm shop changed this year and is now a Welsh cake shop with other basic supplies.

Local attractions

There are lots of chances to get stuck into watersports at Pembrokeshire beaches, whether it’s surfing, paddleboarding, kayaking or coasteering. Wild Lakes Wales (half an hour’s drive) will give you a full introduction too (Welsh lake-style) with wakeboarding activities and an outdoor aqua park. Those who’d rather keep their downtime moving at a quieter, slower pace can track down some peaceful beaches. Druidston Haven (10 minutes) has natural arches, caves and tall cliffs and other remote beaches include the dune-backed Barafundle Bay Beach (50 minutes) and the crescent-shaped Abermawr (25 minutes). Options for additional beach days include Broad Haven (15 minutes), surf-happy Freshwater West (45 minutes), Freshwater East (45 minutes) and Whitesands (25 minutes). Tick off some historic sites such as St Davids Cathedral (20 minutes) and Pembroke Castle (35 minutes), one of Pembrokeshire’s most impressive castles. While the site recommends their own gardens, which have been open to the public for 32 years, other gardens include the Picton Castle Gardens (20 minutes) and Colby Woodland Garden (40 minutes).
