  • Off-grid eco-glamping with spectacular coastal Carmarthenshire views
  • Pembrokeshire Coast Path 10 minutes’ walk; Pendine beach 20 mins’ walk
  • Adults-only site welcoming dogs on a lead only and horses
Set on a 37-acre farm with spectacular views to Carmarthen and Saundersfoot bays – you can see the Devon coastline on clear days – Bryn a Môr is an adults-only glamping spot with a few luxurious and ultra-private units tucked into woodland copses. In line with the site’s green aims, it’s off grid (although wifi and charging facilities are available), so cannot cope with any high-energy appliances, and there is a strict recycling policy, with bins provided. Dogs are welcome, as long as they're kept on a lead at all times. At 10 minutes’ drive from Pendine (where you can pick up grocery basics), the accommodation is accessed via a long track skirting a wooded valley with three beaches within 40 minutes’ walking distance. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path is 10 minutes’ stroll from the property, backed by craggy cliffs popular with climbers. All the deluxe units have a distinctive decor with woodburners to keep them cosy, and there are kitchen facilities for simple campfire suppers too. Shared amenities include an LPG-powered shower producing reliably hot water – welcome after a day of beachcombing or hiking – and a spotless, well-maintained compost loo, plus a washing-up area with a gas hob for heating water. There's also a communal tipi with beanbags and cushions, which all guests can use as a relaxation space. You can also cosy up around the communal firepit and keep warm while stargazing on clear nights. Other activities available on site include horse livery and encounters with the site’s resident horses (you can add either of these as an extra with your booking). If you’ve left the car at home, the site owners can pick you up from Pendine if notified in advance. The glamping site is a little walk from the car park, so guests are offered a wheelbarrow to transport their belongings. A fridge is located in the barn by the car park, so bring a coolbox if you wish to have your cooled items near to hand.

Caban Pren shepherd's hut

Liked: We have loved every minute of our stay! Super cosy shepherds hut, was instantly made to feel very welcome by pets and humans alike. The location is absolutely beautiful with stunning views and really lovely walks, lots of stargazing to be done on a clear night. The kitchen yurt made cooking outdoors so much easier. We made a basket each on a basketry workshop and are so pleased with what we achieved. Cassandra is a very knowledgeable and patient teacher and the workshop had a very relaxed and informal feel to it. We have both come away feeling well rested and so inspired by what we were able to achieve in a day. We really hope to return in the future!

Caban Pren shepherd's hut

Liked: Extremely comfy bed within the wooden shepard's hut. Location is amazing with great views into the bay. Small site that is prefect for a quite tranquile get away. Will be visiting again the winter so we can experience the log burner in the hut. Cassie and Nigel are great hosts told us everything we needed to know. The drive down the lane is well worth it for the view. Well equiped kitchen with extra's such as milk, jam.

From the manager: It was a pleasure to host you both here! Very glad you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you again :-)

Coed Bach primitive forest floor tent campsite

Liked: My stay at Bryn a Môr was amazing and if any one would like to try a bit of wild camping I 100% recommend this place. My plan was to originally go on a wild camp, and I was so reluctant to book a pitch because I didn’t want to be around people & wanted a wild experience, but I found this eco wild camping site in Murros, and it was amazing! Camping on my own, and for the first was scarier than I thought it would be as a solo female, but I had an amazing time and I’m so glad I booked here. It was wild without being isolated, as I still had signal if there was an emergency but it was so peaceful. It had a little kitchen, shower, and a toilet! If you’re thinking about going camping, and want a wild experience then I wouldn’t hesitate to book here - it was perfect as a first timer wanting to try out wild camping! I will definitely be returning.
