Liked: The place was absolutely lovely, Vic, the host was lovely too. Stunning views to look at while having a fire or doing a bbq. Everything that you needed was there, the facilities were great a clean, a lovely hot shower and even some friendly goats and and a sweet old dog named Jet. Was the perfect weekend away to recharge - couldn’t recommend it more!
Disliked: A very minor thing that just a mattress/ foam topper would be a great addition and would be the cherry on top, but we used the duvet for some extra cushion as it was warm anyway

Green Pastures shepherd's hut
Liked: Location was nice
Disliked: Room had not been cleaned properly. The beds were in very poor condition. the pillows were very wet. We were chilling in the cabin and then we saw slugs in out room (one on the bed) and one on the wall. Would not recommend staying here for any price. Had messaged the host and only had excuses for this.

From the manager: Thanks for the feeback Rhodri.
Glad you enjoyed the location, and the Wifi.
I'm sorry that you felt the cleaning was not up to the expected standard. It certainly had been attended to from the previous night's guests. I did not notice 'very wet' pillows either before or after your departure.
It had been a shockingly wet week before you arrived however and some dampness in the air cannot be avoided in such an unsealed wooden hut. I will however, keep bedding in the house over the autumn/winter months in future to avoid any potential dampness.
The bed is a fairly new sofa bed and I find it strange to be described as in 'very poor condition'.
As regards the slugs. Very unpleasant I agree but in wet conditions in a field at the edge of woodland it is impossible to prevent the possibilty of unwanted visitors. They were not seen on cleaning and would be active after dark.
We even get some in the main house from time to time and that is with double glazed doors. No idea how they find a way in!
Possibly to have avoided any of these kind of issues the booking of a small, budget glamping option in a wet welsh November may not have been the ideal accomodation choice for you.
