What customers say
Tranquil site with amazing sea views. Spotless, modern restrooms impress. Friendly staff are a highlight. Some find it remote, but close to the Wales Coast Path. Access tricky for large RVs. Limited on-site shops, but a village pub is nearby. Kids' playground available. Occasional noise/Wi-Fi issues.

Excellent site with super facilities.A nice quiet base to explore from
FHU gravel RV campsite
Liked Lovely clean site with brilliant amenities... Nicer bathrooms than some of the hotels I've stayed in!
Good base to explore the coastal path.. Warning - it's a bit steep as you head towards Ferryside but worth it and what we expected from a coastal path, but might be tricky for some.
Lovely local pub which is a few minutes walk, everyone was very welcoming.
Amazing, friendly coffee shop called Traeth that's worth a visit in Ferryside too.
Disliked Couldn't get hold of the WiFi password but recognise we didn't see anyone during the day as we were out and our message went unanswered... Wasn't a huge issue for us but might be for some who need signal.

The site is ok for a one night stay. The showers were exceptional.
FHU gravel RV campsite
Liked The grounds and facilities were excellent. The warden was very helpful when I arrived. Most of the pitches were taken up with seasonal caravans and a large field for tents and motor homes with a great sea view.
Disliked The site was a long way from the beach with 35 minute walk and a steep walk back as explained by the warden. There weren’t any local shops near by. The road to the park was very narrow and the sat nav took me to the wrong place. The farmer near by was using a grass strimmer very early in the morning The staff on site apologised for the noise but there is ongoing dispute and he does it to be awkward.

Great little site, helpful staff. Clean, updated.
Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked View of the sea. Modern, clean toilet/shower block.
Nicely laid out. We were in a van but on the grass. Slightly hilly so used our blocks. The weather wasn’t great at all so we didn’t stray off the site but there is a village pub nearby, doesn’t do food though (we asked) so we drove to the next town along to get supplies.

We only stayed one night, but we wouldn’t hesitate to return.
FHU gravel RV campsite
Liked Very neat and tidy site
Great shower block and a high level of cleanliness
Plenty of space between pitches
Pub is a short walk away and very friendly, we were made to feel very welcome.
Family run site and they are lovely people that will go the extra mile to help out if required.
Some narrow lanes approaching the site, but manageable
Would highly recommend
Disliked Wi-Fi poor, but nothing else to dislike

Good site to stop over for night in a smaller van or tent.
FHU gravel RV campsite
Liked We liked the view from the camping field at the top of the site, peaceful site. Met by owner who was pleasant, friendly and helpful.
Rustic style.
Disliked Approach tricky with a motor home easy to get lost in the narrow village streets with lots of parked cars. No signs to the site.
Mostly seasonal caravans on the site. Very remote and no where really to walk to. Nowhere to purchase even a pint of milk.
